Smells great BUT
This body butter has a nice fragrance and flavor but that does not make up for the sticky and sandy texture.

Pros
Delicious smell
Cons
Unpleasant texture, The packaging would be better in a tube than a tub
This body butter does smell pretty awesome. I have also had the vanilla scented version, but I find the strawberry preferable. The packaging is also rather adorable with its retro lettering and smooth metal lid. That pretty much covers the positive points of this product for me.
What wasn't favorable about strawberry scented body butter? First and most distractingly uncomfortable for me was the texture. It feels gritty. Unfortunately, the grit does not keep the thick stickiness in check either. After putting it on, I began to feel as though I had rolled around on a sandy beach directly following a thick application of sunscreen. Due to the gourmand scent, I also imagined the possibility of sugar crystals sitting on my flesh. Of course, Doc Johnson is a respectable company. They would never lead me to rub sugar all around my body. I have a wicked imagination. Still, it was an unpleasant feeling. I would never be bold enough to put this anywhere near my most sensitive areas. Though my husband did happily lick my arms to "test out" the flavor. Perhaps my timid nature when it comes to heavy scents near my vulva caused me to miss out on some fun.
I also managed to spill this stuff on my carpet. I tried to dab with paper towels and avoid rubbing, but some of it held on diligently until I caved and rented a steam cleaner. It did not do any lasting damage to the carpet. So, that should be applauded.
After my freak out over the idea of sugar floating around in the body butter, I pushed this to the back of my closet. It lived there quietly for about six months. When I dug it out for cleaning purposes, there seemed to be a black film of some sort growing in the lotion. It went swiftly into the trash.
