Slip and Slide!
This is the perfect way to make a night one of a kind. How can anyone not have a fun time if they're getting a full body massage in a huge pit of yummy smelling goo? I don't see how you could be grumpy if that was happening!

Do you have an anniversary coming up? A birthday? It's not too long before Valentine's Day. This product is a great way to throw something different into the mix.
Yep, it's a homemade pit that you fill with goo.
I know that doesn't make it sound that appealing, but it is really fun. I read reviews of this thing, and I knew it was something I had to try. Imagine candles lit around a dark room, all the furniture cleared to the sides. In the center is a low pool of a great smelling stuff that you get to roll around in together, giving each other full body on body massages. Doesn't that sound better?
This kit comes with a plastic/foil sheet, and two bottles of solution. It makes about a gallon of goo. You first pour the bottle with a number one on it into your large container. Be sure your container has enough room for the goo and room to stir. After the stuff in the first bottle is in there, you add 3 and a half quart of warm water. After the water is in there, you mix in the contents of bottle number two. Then the mixing begins. It will thicken as you mix, and it takes a bit of muscle to stir it all up. After it's all mixed up, you pour the goo into your prepared play pit.
To get the play pit ready, I suggest you find something soft, but not thick, to have on a floor that is easy to clean. It won't be as much fun if you're worried about getting goo on your carpet the whole time. You need a nine foot square area to comfortably use the pit and get in and out of it. I put some cushy blankets on our kitchen floor, which is a large room. That way, everything could be washed and I didn't have to worry about it. After the pad you create is ready, you need between 8-10 towels, rolled up tightly, to create the rim of the pit. I rolled the end of one towel into the end of another for stability, but you really wouldn't have to. After the pit is created, you gently place the foil/plastic sheet over the whole thing. Make sure it covers the towels, and then some, or the goo will try to escape all over the room.
The smell was lovely, much better than I expected. We have the strawberries and champagne scent, and it was realistic and fruity, but not overwhelming. We did try the stuff, as it is supposed to be edible, but was disgusting. I don't recommend you eat it.
The goo feels warms and nice against your skin, but washes off nicely when play is over. Getting to the shower from the pit of goo requires a bit of squeegee action and some towels, but is an amusing end to a fun time. I can't say that the pit of goo was great for actual intercourse, but for play and massage it was a nice change. Thrusting when you can't get any sort of traction or grip is tricky at best. So, what can you do well in there? You can wrestle and play and massage and tease each other for a long time, until the goo gets chilly and you move the fun to the shower. When it's time to clean up, you can grab each corner and lift, and all the goo will stay in the center. Drop the whole thing in a garbage bag or the trash can and then throw the towels and blankets in the washer and you're all cleaned up. I did get some goo on my towels and it washed out without a problem.
I wish I had thought to use this as a surprise, or better yet, that someone had thought to surprise me with this kit already set up. I imagine that coming home, opening the door and seeing a huge pit of goo to play in would be pretty exciting. It would be a night to remember, and lots of fun!

Experience
As I'm prone to do with items that have ingredients, I'll include an ingredient breakdown in the review. There are a few things listed that some people prefer to avoid. I personally had no reaction to any of the ingredients. This isn't a product you use everyday, obviously.
The ingredients for the Body Slide liquid:
Demineralized water -- This is water that is completely free (or almost completely free) of dissolved minerals as a result of one of several processes. The how isn't really relevant here, just know that it's water without anything else.
Glycerin -- Yes, this fun product contains glycerin. If you are sensitive to glycerin, you will probably want to pass on this one. It is used as a means of improving smoothness, providing lubrication and as a humectant.
Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl acrylate crosspolymer -- This acts as an emulsifier, helping the mixture to stay mixed.
Artificial flavor (aroma) -- No more information is given, but obviously something is added to cause it to taste appealing. This will vary depending on the flavor chosen.
DMDMH -- This is a preservative. It releases formaldehyde, which makes the environment less favorable to microorganisms.
Sodium saccharin -- This is a widely used artificial sweetener.
Methyl paraben -- This is a preservative and antimicrobial agent. Some people choose to avoid products that contain parabens. If you avoid them, then you'll want to avoid this product.
Aloe vera -- This is juice from an aloe plant, which is believed to have various soothing and healing properties.

Follow-up commentary
8 months after original review
As this is a single use item, there isn't much in the way of a follow-up review that can be done. It left our skin soft, and was easy to clean up. I would recommend it to others, and would certainly purchase it again!
