I love that it is reusable. It is really easy to clean. It doesn't take very long to boil and get back to usable condition. It heats up very quickly after the metal disk is snapped. It is easy to tell when you need a new one, because it will simply stay hard/crystallized when boiled. It took about 2 years for mine to be worn out with regular use around 4 days a month.

I have also used this in conjunction with massage oil to massage my partner. It warms any lotion or oil while you are massaging. It can get too hot for some people who are sensitive to temperature.
