Silky soft skin that tastes as good as it smells?? I'm in!
When I first tried Honey Dust I wasn't sure if I'd be a fan. A product like this was outside anything that I had ever tried. But, since this is my second jar of Honey Dust, I think it's safe to say that I've become a huge fan! Both the Tangerines and Cream and the Chocolate Caress are wonderful both in their scent and their lightly sweet taste. Best of all it also softens the skin with the added honey.

Pros
smells delicious, light but sweet taste, wonderful tin and pouch
Cons
if it could be sweetened with stevia rather than the saccharin it'd be even more perfect
Whether you're looking for something to spice up a sensual night with a partner or you're just looking for a way to pamper yourself I can't say enough good things about KamaSutra's Honey Dust. I love that it makes my skin feel moisturized without the stickiness of a cream. In my opinion there is a time and a place for an actual moisturizing cream, but sometimes a nice powder is much preferred.
I also have to say, I love the presentation. It comes in a beautiful 8oz. jar, this one is green with an orange band since it's the Tangerines and Cream one. Inside there is a little satin pouch, which coordinates to the flavor/scent. So, of course this one is orange. I have a chocolate one too, and that one is a rich chocolate brown. The powder is kept nice and neat in a plastic bag. You can choose to either keep it in the bag or just dump it out into the tin. Keeping it in the bag helps to not make a mess when opening the tin, but putting it in the tin does make it a little easier to get to and makes less mess when applying..so it's really up to you. There's also an included handmade feather applicator, which I adore.
The reason I choose KamaSutra's Honey Dust over another kind of body powder, is that not only does Honey Dust contain honey to soften your skin (a practice India has been doing for ages) it also tastes and smells heavenly. I'm sure many powders smell nice, but to have one that also tastes yummy? Well, that's a winner for me. It's also made from wonderful ingredients that I feel comfortable using on my skin. (Corn Starch Modified, Glucose, Zea Mays Starch, Honey, Flavor, Sodium Saccharin, Lemon Peel Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Silica, Orange 5, Citral, Geranium, Limonene, Linalool). Everyone is different and has different ingredient concerns, so I can't say if this will be a comfortable ingredient list for you, but I personally find it to be just fine.
So far I've only tried two scents, but both have been absolutely wonderful. I have tried the chocolate, which smells, tastes, and looks like hot cocoa powder. This one here is the Tangerines and Cream which is a light orange powder. From what I have seen this does not stain my skin in any way. It smells like extremely fresh and ripe tangerines. It's a very energizing scent, and I love the smell of it on my skin. It's meant to be more like an orange creamsicle, but it's far better than that..maybe if there was a gourmet version of them. The taste is much more subdued than the scent, it's kind of reminiscent of a tangerine candy..but much lighter. It's basically sweet with a touch of tangerine to it.
So, as I was saying above, Honey Dust is wonderful both for sensual experiences with a partner or just to wear for a daily body powder. I'll talk more about the sensual side of it down in the Experience section. As for daily use, I actually prefer not to use the feather applicator. It's okay for getting it onto the skin but for my skin to feel softened from the powder I actually prefer to buff it on. To buff it you need a powder puff. A lot of body powders come with larger ones, and you can also purchase them separately. Buffing it into my skin in a circular motion allows the powder to really sink in and leave my skin feeling incredibly smooth. It makes me skin look dewy and fresh, and irresistibly touchable! You still get the scent and taste this way too, so it's still nice and sensual, it just takes a bit more time than just applying it with the feathers. It of course feels less sensual this way, which is why I do this if I want to use this as a body powder, and not for sensual fun.
As a body powder this works really well to avoid your skin feeling tacky in heat, and was a lifesaver in the summer. Now that it's starting to cool off though I still like to use it as an alternative to moisturizer. In the cold winter months I imagine I'll need to layer it over some moisturizer for the added skin soothing. But, the great news is that it works wonderful layered over the Kama Sutra Body Souffle. So, you can still taste and smell wonderfully delicious, even if you do need added moisturizing. You can also come up with some interesting flavor combinations this way. A favorite of mine is the Mint Body Souffle layered with the Chocolate Honey Dust.

Experience
Honestly when I first tried Honey Dust I wasn't sure I was going to like it. I'm one of those people that food and sex do not mix. The things that turn a lot of people on (like whipped cream bikinis or dripping chocolate sauce, etc) actually freak me out. It's just not my thing. At all. So, why is Honey Dust different for me? Well, Honey Dust is light. It leaves just a light sweetness on the skin; it's not as if it has a strong taste to it. The skin still tastes like skin, but with some added sweetness and light flavor. It also is lightly dusted over the skin, so skin feels like skin, just silkier. Therefore, the two things that make food play a turn off to me (extreme taste and texture) are eliminated with the use of Honey Dust.
When using this with my husband we usually just use the feather applicator. I often put this on after we shower together. I have never managed to enjoy shower sex to completion, but it is a favorite foreplay location for us. The worst part is after the shower. Our skin feels kind of draggy from the hot water, but using a moisturizer afterwards leaves us sticky for a bit and also can taste REALLY bad. I can't tell you how many times I've applied moisturizer trying to avoid any spot I thought might get kissed or licked. I can tell you for sure, that is a huge pain in the ass! It also makes a very frustrating break in the fun. To go from getting hot and heavy in the shower to sitting around moisturizing myself, isn't really ideal, but I absolutely hate the feel of draggy skin. So, being able to lightly dust each other with the Kama Sutra powder is a sexy and fun way to move from shower to bedroom. Since I have a few of these cans we can each use an applicator and dust each other at the same time. The feather lightly tickles the skin and gets all the nerves revved up and ready to go. Inevitably we end up kissing each other's skin during this, and it's a great way to ramp ourselves back up for going back to what we started in the shower.

Have you tried the Shunga one? I love that one
-
I have tried the Shunga one, but I have only tried the honey scented one, and I don't like that one as much. (Though I still do like it a lot!) But..I don't know if I like the KamaSutra better because of the scents, so I really need to try a different Shunga powder to see if that makes them more equal. I was going to compare the two in the review, but since I am not sure if I prefer the KamaSutra since I've tried yummy scents in these, I didn't want to give the wrong impression on the Shunga.

Very helpful, thank you! Before reading I wasn't too clear on what this WAS - from the sound of it, I might have to give it a try.
