Shine Off
I love lip gloss and realize that it's usually a sticky, imperfect product. This, however, has almost zero redeeming qualities and costs just a little too much for me to consider it an acceptable loss.

Pros
Add shines and shimmer, good sized tube
Cons
The smell, the taste, the texture, the color, hard to wash off
This lip gloss is intended to make your lips shine and glitter with a hint of color. Because I prefer shine over color, I opted for the light pearl pink.
The tube itself comes in a narrow cardboard box which is pink and gold. It's cute but I'd slightly prefer no box. The tube is the style that you squeeze from the bottom, administering the lipgloss through a hole in the center of the angled tip. It's easy to use, even with one hand.
The texture of the gloss itself it very thick. In fact, it leaves an unpleasant sensation on my lips, as though there's a thick-ish piece of plastic on them. It's unnatural.
The gloss is also extremely sticky. Although many glosses are, this one really takes the cake. Paired with the unnatural feeling, I don't enjoy having this on my lips. Kissing, eating or drinking will wear the gloss away and it only takes a couple hours -- tops -- to wear off. As it does stick to things, it tugs are my lips uncomfortably.
The pearl pink, also called Marie Antoinette, appears a creamy peach in person. It's more peachy than the pink of the product photos. A test swatch on my arm revealed no color at all to the gloss. However, there are tiny glittery flecks of a peach color that give the appearance of color. I'd be a little disappointed if I really wanted that color in the product photos.
The result is shiny, shimmery lips that aren't so outrageous that they can only be shown off during the day. However, I felt like this lipgloss really highlighted any cracks or wrinkles in my lips, rather than filling them in. Of course, all lips have some of those, especially when you purse them, but I felt as though someone has frozen them into my lips with the thick gloss.
The final complaints I have are about smell and taste. There is a light, powdery smell that is slightly sweet but not sweet enough for me. I also don't appreciate powdery near my lips. After application, the smell quickly changes to chemical and waxy and this is exactly what it tastes like. Wearing this lipgloss makes me want to drink a gallon of water or gargle some mouthwash.
Unfortunately, it's so thick that it doesn't like to budge so you can wash it off. Soap and water simply make a sticky mess that gets on my fingers. It seems like you just need to rub it off.
Although the 15-ml tube is a decent size and maybe a little bigger than others I have, I could buy ten drug store glosses for the price of this one and be much happier.
