Shave your forbidden fruit!
There is nothing especially wrong with the Inttimo shaving cream; it does its job well enough and has a great scent to boot. However, the problem is the results you get from this aren't enough to warrant the price tag and could easily be replicated for a fraction of the cost.

Pros
Lovely scent, thick and silky texture that leaves you nice and smooth.
Cons
Expensive, small bottle, could just about be replaced with standard hair conditioner.
The Inttimo shave ‘kreme’ by Wet is a shaving cream designed with intimate shaving in mind. It claims to give you a ‘rash free’ shave, meaning you can get a really smooth finish without the painful razor burn you may otherwise suffer. However, I’d like to note before we go further that this product only comes in the 1.5 fl oz (44ml) size, which really is a tiny amount - the bottle is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. This makes it lovely for travelling and hiding it away, but less useful for regular use!
Its consistency is most comparable to hair conditioner as it’s a silky, thick sort of creamy texture, rather than a gel. Additionally, it doesn’t lather and instead forms a slick film that reduces friction and leaves you feeling moisturized. It’s scented with a heady 'forbidden fruit' smell that is sort of sweet and peachy, rather than tropical or citrusy and smells good enough to eat! Yet, it is rather strong, so if you’re wanting something lightly scented then this probably isn’t a good choice.
The ingredients include aloe vera, jojoba seed oil, vitamin E, oat kernel extract, lanolin, glycerin, perfumes, colourants and a large variety of other chemicals with long names that I won’t bore you with. If you have any particular questions about the ingredients feel free to ask, but as I can’t identify what most of them are, it seems to be a waste listing them all off! However, it’s fairly clear that this isn’t for those seeking unadulterated natural ingredients.
When it comes to actual use I’m a little torn on this product. On trimmed hair it works rather nicely, helping the razor to glide over your skin without tugging and nicking, meaning you can really get a super close shave without irritation. It also leaves my skin feeling relatively soft, though not moisturized enough to skip a bit of extra moisturizing lotion afterwards. However, I tested it on longer hair just as an experiment and it didn’t work at all well in comparison to a foaming gel. Though you don’t need huge amounts, I like to apply it reasonably liberally to make sure I get the smoothest shave possible and that means such a small bottle disappears pretty fast.
I ended up concluding that it’s really not all that different from hair conditioner in actual use as well as consistency. I tried using a smear of normal conditioner that the hair on my head is normally treated to and that gave very similar results to this product. It’s also far cheaper than the $8 price tag for this the teensy bottle which I seem to be going through relatively quickly!
Therefore, though there is nothing inherently wrong with the Inttimo shaving cream, I don’t feel like anything about it stands out enough for me to want to repurchase it or strongly recommend it to anyone. It does leave you smooth, has a nice scent and is a step up from a standard gel, but honestly I feel like it could be easily replaced with cheaper alternatives. I'd give it a 3.5/5 if that were possible, but in this case I don't think it really gave me the satisfaction I'd want for a 4/5 product.

Thank you for viewing Inttimo shave kreme – shaving gel review page!
Thanks for the great review!
While I have tried hair conditioner for shaving, I was not impressed in the least. Maybe certain brands work better but as I typically do not use conditioner, I don't have it around anyway.
Ah Adriana, that's a pity to hear. Out of curiosity, what was the problem with normal conditioner? Not slick enough etc. or just in general didn't work?
