Every scent I tried of the Eos lip balm was amazing. It's unique design, a twist off cap, and scent had me coming back for every type they offered. The formula used is organic with Shea butter and coconut oil (yum!). For me personally, I tend to apply chap stick about three times a day however the Eos lip balm does require more application. It simply doesn't stay very long on your lips especially in hot or dry climates. As far as a residue left on the lips that other reviews have stated, this is at best minimal compared to other brands of chap stick that you can pick up at department stores.

The packaging is just a thin layer of plastic so it's easy to take off. The container itself is an easy twist off. The seal on the container can be a bit loose but it won't come a loose. Because it is a solid, it won't spill like lip gloss. I have had one container dry out but it is only if you do not regularly use the lip balm. I find that there isn't a taste to this product at all. Other reviews do say that some of the products have a slightly sweet taste but I could not detect it. As it is meant only for lips, please do not apply to other areas of the body.

Overall, I really like this product. $7.99 is a bit expensive for a lip balm but if you're looking for a product you can feel good about (environmentally!) and love the scent from, this is the best one out there. I've used mine for over three months with daily application and I've hardly finished a fourth of the container. So it doesn't dissipate too quickly. However, if you leave it out in the heat for too long the balm does tend to become thinner and will be used more quickly.
