The Dona Bath Foam is part of a body care line by JO (known for their lubricants). The bath foam is straightforward and designed to give you a lovely bubble bath. In addition, it claims to have aphrodisiac qualities, which is debatable since the science is not really there on it. Regardless, it works well, gives great bubbles, and smells absolutely delicious. It is a great treat to settle into a nice bubble bath at the end of the day or have one waiting for your partner when they come home. And, hey, maybe that will get you in that mood (aphrodisiac, placebo effect, or neither).

The ingredients on the bottle are fairly standard for most bubble baths and similar bath products. It is not meant to go inside the body, but those with sensitive skin can always do a skin test to be cautious. You can simply put a small amount on your forearm, wipe off the excess, and see how your skin does. If you see no response in 48 hours, you should be fine.

The bath foam has a consistency similar to shampoo. It sinks to the bottom of the tub if you don't pour it under the faucet Product that does hit the bottom of the tub usually dissolves and suds with the water current. If not, you can use your hands to agitate the water and move the gel to sud it. When you take a bath with it, it does not leave you feeling greasy or filmy. It also doesn't dry you out. This is true even when using more than the suggested amount.



The Mangosteen has an amber color to it, but it does not visually change the color of the water during normal use. It is easy to pour with one hand. The liquid is smooth before it is poured.

The bath foam is not edible. The mangosteen smells wonderful. It has a fruity note without being overly edible and it also has a freshness to it. It is not floral compared to other DONA scents. The smell is strong and does last during your bath. If you have a sensitive nose you can always add less product in your bath. Depending on if you wash your body in the tub or showered before, the bath foam can leave a very light scent on your skin to no scent at all.

The bath foam creates awesome bubbles that last. If you use more than a normal amount, you might find yourself whacking the bubbles after you bath to make it all wash away easily. The bubbles can create a high later above the water, so if you like a very full tub with water use less product. If you're done with your bath and there are a lot of bubble left over, you can leave your shower head on pointed toward the tail end of the bath tub to break down the bubbles and have everything wash away.

After your bath your skin feels fine and you feel pampered and relaxed. The bottle may seem small, but it lasts long enough to be worth the purchase.

All liquids from Eden come wrapped in a plastic bag to prevent it from spilling and possibly damaging other products. Remove that and you'll have the bottle. The bottle does have a foil seal that can be peeled off after twisting off the plastic cap. To use the bath foam, untwist the plastic cap and pour the product into the running water.



The packaging doesn't scream sex but it does advertise romance. Overall, it's safe to have out in your shower with no problem.

I have made a promise to myself to try and take 1 bubble bath every week or two weeks. In the craziness of life, you need time to relax and take time for yourself. I do this by having bubble baths. I usually take a shower first so I can simply relax. I pour the bath foam in and let the tub fill up. Since I leave the bathroom door open as it fills I can smell the product throughout my small apartment. Once in, I usually read or listen to music. I stay in sometimes for almost an hour and there are still plenty of bubbles around.

Sadly, my bath tub is not big enough for two (tried that and had some laughs), so I can't spend bubble bath time with my partner. Sometimes I don't want to be alone for my bath and my partner with keep me company, which is nice. I will always love bubble baths and I can't wait for the day I have a larger tub.
