Roll and Sniff - Way Better Than Scratching
I feel ridiculously pampered when I wear this. To the point that I stand there and think to myself, "You are entirely too excited about putting on this parfum," and I constantly marvel at the teeny bottle it comes in, but the scent is so strong that you only need a very tiny amount and it lasts all day. It must be the scent equivalent of wearing your fanciest bra and panties. All day you have a little smile because you know you've treated yourself.

Pros
Not alcohol-based, gentle on skin, scent lasts all day
Cons
It's expensive
I love what I call "smell good things". Grandma's cinnamon rolls, freshly cut hay, and a newly printed paycheck are all smell good things. Included in that list, now, is Principessa Beauty's Belloccia. I have no idea how to pronounce it, but damn it, I wear it proudly. I'm not the best at choosing sensory things based on description. Give me a wine list and I stare at you. But, as I read the descriptions of their parfum oils, I found myself drawn to the description of sweet scents in Belloccia: peach, vanilla, jasmine, ylang ylang (which is just fun to say, kids!), sandalwood and dry amber. One of the scents was even described as "ethereal". SOLD! Their website states, "Our goal at Principessa Beauty, is to create high end, unashamedly feminine beauty products. In doing so, we consider the 3 P’s: Perfume, Packaging, and Performance." Boy, were they not kidding.
I was super excited to see if the actual scent was accurately represented by that glowing description, so when it arrived I tore into that bad boy like a kid at Christmas. First, I admit I'm easily impressed, but the packaging was top notch! The parfum oil is in a tiny black bottle with a metal roller ball on top, but that bottle came inside a pink cardboard tube with a lid that fit snugly and such pretty graphics on the outside! I felt so fancy! There's no reason to keep the French-inspired cardboard tube. It's not necessary for storage, but I'm keeping it, damn it! Second, I'm sort of a freak of nature. I have a skin disorder called Dermatographic Urticaria - an allergy to pressure. I remember using perfume sticks, in the past, and when I rubbed it on my skin, the combination of alcohol and pressure would leave red lines on my skin everywhere I had touched with it. Sexy! (no worries, they go away after about 10 minutes) So, I was curious if I would have the same reaction with the parfum oil and its roller ball. I DID NOT! The roller ball moves so smoothly and freely within its casing that no pressure is needed at all and it's pure oil. There's no alcohol in it so that didn't set off my skin irritation, either. Principessa Beauty loves my fragile freakish skin.
And then, the smell... I actively sought out places to go, so I could waft my beautiful scent in public and not just sit in a cloud of pretty in my recliner, like usual. Also, I noticed that though the scent softened or faded throughout the day, it never entirely went away which I've often found to be the case with regular perfume sprays.
One last thing was on my mind and I went searching. Principessa Beauty cares about my skin, but do they care about animals? I found, on their website: "We are proudly * paraben free * petroleum free * cruelty free * phthalate free * pH balanced" How much more could I love this company? Also, found on their website, Belloccia is apparently an award winning fragrance! Way to go, guys!

Experience
I rolled it on my pulse points: wrists, behind the ears, etc. It's such a strong scent you only need to touch the roller ball to your skin and the scent lasts all day.
