Rechargeable, Powerful Magic

I love this toy for its strong vibrations, multiple settings, and that it's rechargeable! It's a bit loud, but with the door closed you should be fine. Definitely worth the money, it's found a permanent home next to my bed.

Use

The Mini Magic is designed for external stimulation. It has six different vibration patterns, three steady and three pulsating. I prefer really strong vibrations, and this toy delivers despite its size; it's strong enough to get me off just by itself, though it works well paired with a dildo or internal vibrator. It's not designed to be used internally, though it can be inserted if you want. I tried inserting it vaginally, but it didn't really do much for me.

This toy is small and non-threatening. The vibrations might be a bit strong for a first toy, though the different settings offer different sensations that a beginner (or more experienced user) would probably enjoy playing with.

I didn't use this with a partner, but the nicely sized handle and flexible head would probably make it a good choice to use with a friend.

Material / Texture

The label on the box says "100% Silicone," but this thread explains that everything is silicone but the body, which is coated plastic. It has a velvety texture similar to silicone.

The massager head is smooth on the tip and has ridged sides. I didn't find the ribbed sides at all noticeable during use. The overall texture was nice. It had a bit of drag (which goes away with lube, if you're not into it).

There was no odor out of box, which is just super.

Design / Shape / Size

The Mini Magic is comfortably small. It's only 6 1/4 inches long and 1 1/8 inches wide; the head is 1 1/2 inches long, and the handle is 4 1/4 inches long. The handle fits nicely in my hand and the velvety texture means it's easy to hold on to, even with lube all over my hands. The head is a good size. It's small enough to be non-intimidating but large enough to still be a satisfying massager. I tried inserting the head, but it's not really designed for that, and didn't do much for me. I only tried this solo, but it's small enough that I think it could be used with a partner without too much difficulty.

There's a blue light on the function button that lights up when the massager is on. I love this because I can always find it if I drop it (while it's on), and also glowy things are awesome!

The head is flexible in all directions. It will go about 30 degrees to the side. This is super useful! It makes it much easier to get the head at interesting angles without hurting your wrist.

My favorite thing about this toy is that it's rechargeable. It doesn't have a wall plug, but the charger can plug directly into a USB port (which I love, since I have my computer on pretty much all the time). If you're not a computer person, the charger has seven other ports for various cables: iPhone/iPod touch, mini USB, au, docomo FOMA/SoftBank 3G, micro USB, F 3.5DC, F 2.5CD. I don't know what all of those are, but they're labeled clearly on the charger.

The only problem I have with the charger is that it doesn't have any indicator for when the battery is full, but at least it can't overcharge as far as I know (I left it plugged in for about 12 hours one day). The info [here | https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-forum/sex-toys/vibrators/mini-magic-questions/] says that a full charge (from empty) takes three hours and lasts sixty to ninety minutes, and an hour's charge lasts thirty to sixty minutes, depending on what setting you use.

I was confused by the charger initially. I thought I had to pull out the white circle, and I wasted about an hour trying to figure out how to get it out. Nope! You stick the charger straight into the white circle in the end. The charger has a red button, and the massager has blue lights (on the end and on the function button) that light up when it's charging.

This toy is pretty discreet. It's small, pink and white, and doesn't stand out as a sex toy at all. It could be taken traveling, especially since the charger is so tiny and it comes with a storage bag. The only thing I'd worry about is that it doesn't have a locking function, and the battery doesn't come out. It could turn on accidentally.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibe turns on with a click of the white button. You'll know it's on because a blue light will turn on (and it will start vibrating).

It has six settings, three levels of steady vibration (low, medium, high) that increase as you cycle through, then three pulsing settings. The first is two pulses on high, a short one then a long one. The second is five pulses that start low and increase to high. The third setting is really rumbly, starting low and increasing to high, pulsing twice, continuing on high, pulsing twice, then repeating. The last one is my favorite setting, though I wish the steady settings were as rumbly.

The settings have to be cycled through to get to the one you want. After going through all of them it will turn off, though you can also hold the button for about three seconds on any setting to turn the toy off.

The main problem with this toy is that it's fairly loud. It has got a weird rattling sound that goes away when the head is pressed against something, but it's still pretty loud. It can be heard pretty clearly through covers but not really through a closed door.

The single button is nice, it makes it very easy to switch settings without worrying about hitting the wrong button. The vibrations are great. I like strong vibrations and this one definitely satisfied me. The low setting is probably equivalent to medium on an average vibrator, so if you like gentle vibration, this might not be the toy for you.

There's nothing in the packaging about water resistance, but the [info page | https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-forum/sex-toys/vibrators/mini-magic-questions/] says it's waterproof. I've washed it under running water then let it air dry, and it's been fine; I haven't tried submerging it.

Care and Maintenance

Since this toy is waterproof, it's easy to clean. I just use soap and warm water. The only tricky thing is the ridges on the edge, stuff can get caught in them really easily if you're not paying attention. I usually use a q-tip to make sure I've gotten everything out, which is a bit annoying.

I store this toy in the bag it comes with. The charger is small enough to fit in the bag with the toy.

Because the head of the toy is silicone, be sure to only used water-based lubes, anything else will degrade the material.

Packaging

The Magic Wand comes in a neat triangular box. It's transparent with only a white label that says "Mini Magic, rechargeable, 6 vibrating functions, 100% silicone." It's pretty discreet, though you can see the vibrator really clearly. It comes with a white, drawstring, velvet bag that's perfect for storage.

There's small slip of paper with instructions for the charger. The instructions are really brief, and I was sort of confused by how to plug the charger into the vibrator, as I said before. Clearer directions would have been really helpful, and a guide to the vibrations and how to turn it off would have been nice.

Follow-up commentary
This is still one of my favourites. After trying more vibrators, the vibrations are a bit on the buzzy side of perfect, but I don't find them numbing, so it still works for me. The only problem I've had has been with the charger—it occasionally doesn't connect properly, but if I fiddle with it a bit I can usually make it work. I'm pretty sure this is my fault, though; I think I pulled it sideways by accident when it was charging once. Oops.
