System Jo has come out with a line of sensual products which are aphrodisiac infused. The scent you choose won’t match the name but that’s because the scent is actually the aphrodisiacs put into the lotion. For instance, I have the pomegranate lotion but it’s a floral scent rather than a fruity scent, but I’ll explain more about that in the “Taste / Aroma” section.

This is a regular body lotion that you can rub all over the skin and enjoy the scent and moisturizing effects. I would skip putting any on the face, simply because the fragrance can really sting the eyes and you also don’t want any getting in your mouth.

This body lotion is a lot thinner than others I have, but it also takes a while to rub in. It takes about a minute or so for it to completely soak in. The pump top makes it really easy to dispense the lotion; I’ll probably end up using the bottle for liquid hand soap as soon as I’m through with the lotion. It dispenses a lot of lotion, I would guess about a cherry sized glob. It’s enough to cover an entire arm or an entire leg.

There are six fragrances to choose from and the scents are based on which aphrodisiacs were added to the lotion. I tried another product with the Acai scent and I found that to be way too sweet so I chose the pomegranate for the lotion. It’s a lovely scent but it’s not fruity at all. It is a light floral scent which has a hint of lillies but something else is there. It is a pleasant scent which seems to last about an hour.

I think this is a good lotion to get, especially if you are planning on trying other stuff from this line like the body wash, bath salts, or the massage candle. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that the lotion doesn’t absorb right away but I can easily overlook that, especially since it makes my skin feel really soft.

This lotion comes in a nice 8.5 ounce bottle at a reasonable price point. It probably won’t do very much for extremely dry skin, however I just use it for light moisturizing before going to bed.
