Poof! You're a Diva!
Crazy Girl Diva Dust is a loose body dust that adds shimmer to skin. It's pink in the container but when applied to skin, it simply adds some glitter to skin. It's easy to apply and not messy at all. The dust is pink cupcake flavored, though to me it just has a lightly sweet taste and scent. The only thing I don't like about the dust is the fact that it contains talc, which some people are sensitive to.

Pros
cute, good price, smells/tastes good, makes skin sparkly, made in USA
Cons
contains talc
One of my favorite beauty product lines is the Crazy Girl line by Classic Erotica. I have several of their products and love all but one. Of course, I wanted to expand my collection. I purchased the Crazy Girl Diva Dust not only for that reason, but also on the search for good makeup products to use for my upcoming wedding. I’m not the kind of person to wear a ton of thick layers of makeup, but I do think adding some subtle shimmer to my shoulders and chest would look nice.
The Diva Dust comes in a small plastic .5 ounce jar. It is clear with a black lid. It’s the same size as a compact and a few other makeup products I have. It measures almost 3 inches across and almost 1 ½ inches tall. The packaging states that this powder is to be dusted over your body wherever you please. It’s pink cupcake flavored, so your partner can kiss it off your skin. It contains sex attractants and is made for adult use only. It is made in the USA. Underneath the lid, there is a small safety seal that keeps the powder from getting everywhere during shipment.
Ingredients:
Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Talc, Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Boron Nitride, Citric Acid (Vitamin C), Fructose, Saccharin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Copulandrone, Copuline-alike, Reconstituted Andronone, Flavor (Aroma), May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77489, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Blue 1 (CI 42090), Red 6 Lake (CI 15850).
I strongly suggest patch-testing this product before applying it to your entire body. It contains talc, which some people are sensitive to. It also contains sugar, so I strongly suggest avoiding use around the vaginal opening. Aside from these two ingredients there isn’t really anything to be concerned about.
Removing the lid to the Diva Dust, you’ll find the powder puff used to apply the dust. It’s about the average size of the powder puffs found in compacts, though it is much fluffier. To use it, simply pat it in the container and pat onto your skin. It is sitting in a plastic tray that has small holes in the bottom so that only so much powder can come out at a time, rather than just sitting in the powder itself.
Inside the container, the powder is baby pink in color and looks shiny or iridescent. It looks really no different from my powder foundation, aside from color. It’s a loose powder that is easy to pick up with the powder puff. It applies to skin very easily and spreads evenly. Despite it being a loose powder, it isn’t messy to apply. When I used it, I didn’t end up getting powder all over my clothing or the surface I had the container sitting on.
The powder is supposed to be pink cupcake flavored. It smells faintly sweet, though not identifiably as a cupcake. It’s a very light and pleasant scent. I like the flavor, too, which is also just faintly sweet. It’s a tiny bit gritty on my tongue at first since it is corn starch based, but once it dissolves it’s really yummy. It doesn’t leave grit in my mouth and does not have a bad aftertaste.
When I applied the Diva Dust to my skin, it added tons of little glittery bits of pink shimmer. I didn’t really notice any difference in color after applying. The powder does not feel heavy on my skin at all. It seems to stick to skin pretty well, but if rubbed roughly some of it will come off. After applying, my skin had a very light sweet smell and tasted really yummy. Areas of skin that have been licked will lose their shimmer. Unfortunately, my camera was unable to pick up the shimmer for me to add a photo depicting it.
Diva Dust is supposed to contain sex attractants. I personally did not notice any effects of the sex attractants however pheromones never actually seem to work on me. While the sex attractant did not work on me it may work on others. Everyone has varying reactions to pheromones, so my results may not be typical.
If you decide you’d like to wash off the Diva Dust, it comes off easily with some soap and warm water. If you apply it to your whole body, the easiest way to get it off is to shower or take a bath. For smaller areas, a washcloth and body wash will be fine. I did not notice any staining to my clothing after using this. If you happen to get some on clothing, shake out any excess powder and spot-clean the area.

Experience
I think Diva Dust would make a cute gift for women. The container is classy looking and the powder is delicious and sweet. I would avoid gifting it to anyone with whom you would be uncomfortable presenting a gift marked as including “sex attractants” though. Diva Dust would make an excellent companion to the Crazy Girl gift set, which is also pink cupcake flavored.
I’ve tried about 5 body dusts similar to Diva Dust. They’re a fun and cute way to add some shimmer to skin without looking like you’re wearing makeup meant for little girls. The shimmer is classy enough to wear out or it can be worn at home with your favorite lingerie. Out of all the body dusts I’ve tried, this is one of my favorites. It’s got the nicest powder puff and it’s by far the neatest one I’ve tried yet. Other dusts make a mess on the surface when applying and this one does not.
The only real con I can think of to this product is the fact that it contains talc. Talc can irritate skin. It’s sometimes found in baby powders or products like Shower to Shower, though more and more products seem to be switching to being corn starch based rather than talc based. I think if you spot-test it first on your arm and don’t notice any irritation, you should be fine.
I give the Diva Dust 5 out of 5 stars.
