The Vita arrived with several other purchases from Eden in the usual innocent-looking brown shipping box. The sender is listed as "Web Merchants, Inc." (that's also what will appear on your credit card statement), so you don't have to worry about nosey neighbours, housemates, or kids knowing what's in your package and judging you for it. The Vita itself was contained in a plain white cardboard box, with the Vita and its attachments seated in a molded plastic insert. A white USB magnetic charging cable is also included. The box is quite small and relatively sturdy, so it can be used for storage. Normally I recycle product boxes and keep my toys in plastic bags to save space, but the somewhat delicate nature of the Vita, combined with the compactness of its box, has led me to hang on to this particular box and use it for storage, at least for the time being. I worry that the thin neck of the Vita could get damaged or broken if I just tossed it into my toybox in a plastic baggie.

Like virtually all the toys I've received from Eden, the Vita arrived with a charge, so upon removing it from its box, I was able to turn it on and check out its functions. This toy is roughly the size of an electric toothbrush, except without the actual toothbrush part. It has three buttons. The middle one is the power button, which turns the toy on when you hold it down for a few seconds (and also turns the toy off when held for a few seconds). The top and bottom buttons are up and down arrows, which control the intensity of the Vita's vibrations. This little guy doesn't have any patterns, but he does have quite a few levels of intensity to choose from (I think I counted 7). The vibrations are quite intense, even on the lowest setting, and have a surprising amount of rumble for such a small toy. The Vita comes with two attachments made from extremely soft, flexible pink silicone. One is a cute sort of cartoon-looking bunny with long, flexible ears that quiver and tremble, and the other looks a bit like a miniature tongue, with some nubs and ridges on it for extra stimulation. The attachments are very easy to attach and remove, but they seem secure when they're attached to the toy; I don't see them flying off during use or anything like that.

All in all, I was very impressed with the operation of the Vita and was excited to take it for a spin. I could feel some vibration in my hand through the handle, but it didn't seem too bad. The lowest settings were pretty quiet, and although it did get louder as the intensity increased, even the highest intensity wasn't TOO loud (I don't think it could be heard through a wall or closed door, though full disclosure, I didn't actually check). The only thing that slightly annoyed me was the fact that when you first turn it on, it seems to start off on a medium-intensity setting. I'd prefer that it started out on the lowest intensity, but it's not really that big a deal. Just remember to turn it on first and get it to the setting you want before holding it to your sensitive spots.

Before settling down to try out my new toy, I charged it fully, then took it off to the bathroom sink for a quick wash. I clean my toys with toy cleaner and rinse with warm water, but mild soap and water would also suffice. Since the silicone attachments don't contain any mechanical parts, you could boil those if you felt the need to sterilize them (not sure I'd put them in the dishwasher, just because they're so small). You can also wash them with alcohol or a 5-10% bleach solution to sanitize them. However, the Vita itself should not be boiled (it would ruin its mechanics), and since the "business end" is plastic (which is slightly porous), I'd advise sticking to toy cleaner and/or soap and water (also, if you intend to share this toy with someone to whom you are not already fluid-bonded, it's advisable to either have them use it with the silicone attachments, which can be easily sterilize, ruining it, and you can also take it with you in the shower, bath, pool, etc.

Once my new toy was charged and cleaned, I settled back on my bed with my new friend, propped up on a pile of pillows in a sort of half-seated missionary position (my preferred and most comfortable position when I'm playing with myself), I tried out the lowest setting without the attachments, just to see what it felt like. YOWZA, does this little guy pack a punch! I actually found that even on the lowest setting, it was a little too intense for my clit right off the bat, so next I tried the tongue-like attachment on the lowest setting, and that felt much better. I swapped out for the bunny attachment, to see how that felt. I had better luck just angling one ear on my clit, or by positioning the bunny's face on my clit and having the ears tickle the area near my vagina opening. I also found that the bunny attachment felt great on other parts of my body, like my nipples, inner thighs, stomach, perineum, and the outside of my anus. There really wasn't any part of my body that couldn't be teased and pleased by those soft, trembling ears! Ultimately, however, I decided that while the bunny attachment was awesome for other body parts, the tongue-like attachment is what my clit liked best, so I swapped back out for that attachment and decided to try for an orgasm. To help things along, I pulled up a sexy story on my phone, and went back and forth between using the Vita to tease my nipples and my clit with the oscillating mini-tongue. I did notice that the vibrations of the Vita tend to get bogged down a little when you press it too firmly against your body, so if you're the sort of person who needs pressure on your clit to cum, this toy probably wouldn't be the best option for you. I've continued to experiment with the Vita, and with pairing it with various internal toys. It's been performing beautifully at the purpose for which I purchased it!
