This is a cute necklace with the letters S&M for sex and mischief or that other kind of S&M.

The necklace arrived a little tougher than I expected. The chain is decently made and the charm itself looks like it could withstand some tugging. I accidentally caught the chain on my bag when I was getting out my laptop to write this review and yanked it fairly hard without it breaking. The chain is shiny (chrome plated copper according to the materials info) and the links are square cut. The charm itself is made of many small rhinestones the letters move independently of each other and jingle a little when they move. The charm has two spring ring clasps on either side that connect it to the chain so it could be taken off and attached to say.. a collar? I actually think the charm would be VERY cute attached to a black leather collar and may do so myself. The chain itself connects with a lobster/parrot clasp behind the necklace, and if desired can be connected on any link of the chain to shorten it- the chain is normally 20 inches long. The charm is a little over 1 inch in length.

Someone with a copper sensitivity may have issues with the base metal underneath the chrome if it wore off or was scratched in any way. To prevent this it should be removed before bathing. If you get grime in and around the rhinestones you can always just clean it with a toothbrush or jewelry cleaner.

This would be a great necklace for costumes, fantasy role playing, or parties with like-minded people. This necklace comes in a black mesh gift bag so it can easily be sent to a friend as a gift without worrying about wrapping it. The bag can also be used to store the necklace to keep it from getting tangled in your jewelry box.

It's still a necklace, and it's still a pun. Just a cute little necklace to wear out and about. I don't wear it often, but it hasn't tarnished or started to peel or degrade.
