What can I say? I am in love with the Kama Sutra Treasure Trove set. I have even tried to find fault in it. I simply can’t. The Treasure Trove is a set that comes beautifully packaged in a wonderful cardboard box that is lined with shreds of paper inside (think Easter basket filler). Resting on the filler is a {not so small} tube of Stimulating gel, a satin sack filled with raspberry body dust, a feather applicator for the dust, and a bottle of massage oil. The massage oil is packed in another plastic bag because it can (and mine did a little) leak out. The body dust is in a plastic bag within the satin bag, and I do suggest keeping it in there because the dust is so fine it may come out of the satin bag.

The stimulating gel was the biggest surprise to me. Usually these gels do one of two things, either I run screaming in pain to the shower to wash them off, or I feel nothing. To begin with I used just a little, I mean like a half a pea sized droplet. I didn’t notice any feeling at first, but about 20 seconds later there was a slight tingling sensation, I can’t really say if it was warming or cooling, just a very slight change, and I really enjoyed it. The feeling lasted about 15 minutes, and I figure that since the tube is so large (1.7 oz) this is a great thing. The most I ever used was a pea sized drop, and honestly, you don’t even need that much. Now, this gel is thin for an actual gel. It isn’t as thin as water, but simply turning the tube over and holding it, not squeezing, the liquid will run out, maybe that is why it feels so much better. The gel really melts well into the skin and doesn’t leave behind a sticky mess. The downfall is that it is not all natural.

So there you have it, Sucrose and Glycerin, but these didn’t bother me in the least, and I still highly recommend this. Oh, and don’t use this as an addition to oral sex, it has a nasty aftertaste that lasts quite a while. I also wouldn’t suggest attempting to use this as a lubricant.

The massage oil is divine. It is thin, and greasy, and everything you look for in an oil you want to be rubbed down with. It makes skin just glide along skin and assists with a slick and sexy massage. And, of course, since it is edible, licking and kissing after the oil is on is no longer a don’t…it’s a must. It doesn’t really do anything truly amazing; it is just a basic massage oil. Ok, well…not really. See the Oil of Love line is actually a water based formula that is hypoallergenic, latex safe, and is not an oil. You get a 3.4oz bottle of this massage oil, and it can even be used as a lubricant. I didn’t try it as a lube because I prefer it to be a massage oil I can use with my InfraRed Massager. If you blow on the oil it is supposed to heat up some, I didn’t notice a huge difference, but I didn’t really care either. Of course it is safe to lick and kiss or whatever else. The taste of the Raspberry Kiss is amazingly good. It is very sweet, but in a way that you can only understand by actually trying it. This is a massage oil I will keep stocked for our massage nights. The ingredients do include glycerin, so if you are sensitive to it you may consider not using this as a lubricant.

The Treasure Trove also comes with 8 oz of the honey dust in Raspberry Kiss flavor. I have loved this honey dust for years. I wear it daily. Once I am out of the shower on goes the dust. It is a great body dust and it really does make your skin very soft and your body will keep a slight scent for the rest of the day. Not as strong as perfume, but just a slight smell…like some soaps leave. The best thing about the honey dust is your lover can actually kiss you where you smell wonderful without a tongue full of nasty bitter perfume residue. The taste is an ever so slight sweetness that just adds to the smell. I keep two different flavors on hand at all times. I would recommend placing this anywhere you want to draw your lover’s attention to. Now, this is for external use only please.

Who would I recommend this to? Anyone, really and truly. This is such a versatile product that anyone can use it and love it. You don’t even need to have a lover in your life. Use the gel with your favorite toy, wear the powder daily (I sure do) and put the oil on a massager and have a nice massage. This would even make an amazing gift for a friend. Because of the beautiful packaging it can be placed in plain sight. I keep the massage oil and body powder out on my dresser. I have a nosey child, so the gel needs to be put away, but most people wouldn’t even realize it wasn’t hand lotion. I am very very impressed by the overall quality of this kit, and by the versatility of it as well.

Just an added reminder: Water based means you can use any of your toys near the massage oil without fear of injuring them.

Added: I originally forgot to mention nipple use for the stimulating gel (thank you Britni for reminding me). I did try the gel on my nipples (but just a little because I have them pierced). I wasn't crazy about it, but I will say if you love nipple creams and stimulation this is a great use for the gel. I would still caution not to lick it off though because the taste isn't so amazing.

I feel amazing and sexy when I wear my powder. It's like it transforms me. I cannot stress enough what a well made product this is. I will be keeping all of these items stocked in my drawer for now on. Nothing is better for J than when he gets home and I feel sexy...it changes the whole mood for the night.
