Oil of Love - Cherry Cough Syrup Flavor
I wanted a classy way to relax with my partner after long days, hopefully as a prelude to being fucked into oblivion. What I got was like bathing in sticky cough syrup.

Pros
Pretty bottle.
Cons
Too oily, smells and tastes bad, not re-closeable.
This massage oil was an overall success, but there were some major problems. I love being massaged, but the overpowering feeling of oiliness and needing to shower that washes over me when being massaged with this oil, distracts from any relaxation. God help you if you get it in your hair. I was hoping that my skin would absorb it at least a little, or that it would provide a moisturizing effect. Alas, such is not the case. If you buy this product, don't plan on using it as foreplay. You could have sexy-time in the shower of course, but anywhere else is probably a no-go.
It also smells and tastes like a really bad cherry cough syrup, like your mom would give you when you were sick as a kid. That's just unpleasant and not sexy.
The cherry almond flavor/fragrance that I have is actually a red color, not the green that they show on the site. Immediately when I tried to open up the bottle, the cork snapped in half, leaving the other half still firmly embedded in the pretty glass bottle. So I had to dig that out and now the bottle is sitting open on the nightstand, and hopefully neither myself nor my partner will knock it over. This probably happens frequently because when the product arrived the cork was very dry and brittle.
One thing I will say, is that a small amount of this stuff goes a very long way. I would estimate that the 4oz bottle will last for 20 massages. Just a dollop on the middle of the back is enough for a nice full-back massage. It also has a lovely bottle and box that I am proud to display, or would be if the bottle were re-closeable. It has a classy look to it.
On the product page it says it "Warms the skin with a tingly glow". I'm not sure who came up with this because it's total nonsense. There's no "warming sensation". It just slides around like a...well...oil.
If you like really oily massages that you don't mind scrubbing off after, or if you like the taste of cough syrup, this is for you. If not, it's probably best you look elsewhere.
