I suggest this oil to be used not as a lubricant, but as an erotic massage oil prior to love making. I also don't suggest this to be used heavily if you don't plan to take a shower/bath afterward. It can get a little sticky, depending on how much you use. Warming this oil before use is a great idea. All you have to do is let the bottle sit in a cup of hot water for a minute and it's warm and ready to go!

The viscosity of this oil is not extremely thick, prior to what you may have heard. If the oil is thick to you, just warm the bottle in a glass of hot water to thin it down. You can also rub it in your hands first. That works just fine.

Surprisingly, this oil absorbs into the skin quite well. I expected it to leave me feeling greasy, but it did not. As long as you massage it into your skin long enough, you will be fine. If you use a lot of the oil, you might possibly get a sticky feeling. This didn't happen to me, but my partner insisted on taking a shower after we had sex. He said his back felt sticky. This was about an hour after the massage and sex. We did use a lot of oil on him, so this could be the reason.

The smell of this product is really very sweet, but you can only smell it if you get very close, or if you use a lot of oil. I have the Vanilla Cream flavor/scent. The site says it was Vanilla Sugar, and I was a little disappointed that it wasn't exactly the same flavor/scent such as other Vanilla Sugar products I have tried. EdenFantasys needs to update those options.

Both my partner and I can say that we didn't much care for the taste. We have tasted Oil of Love in the past and we remember the vanilla being more prominent. This oil just tasted like a light mixture of watered down vanilla, cream and sugar by itself. The sugary taste was the most noticeable. Luckily, my mother is into oils and we put a drop of vanilla oil into the bottle and it is much better now.

The more oil you use, the more of the actual advertised taste and smell you are going to get.

The best thing about Oil of Love oils are that they all last a long time. A quarter sized amount of oil goes a very long way. This gets rid of the distractions of getting up, opening the bottle, and applying more and more oil all night.

The product works especially nice for genital massages. These are areas where you can especially feel the light warming sensations. I don't recommend to use this product for a lubricant. Although it is safe for latex condoms, the ingredients are not very safe to get inside of your vagina. I work at a women's health center and I checked this out for myself. Glycerine, sucrose, sodium saccharine, etc are not good for your vagina. So try to keep large amounts from getting in there, and shower after sex if you used it as a lubricant.

I didn't feel the need to wash any of this off my skin after use, but my fiance reported a sticky feeling. We did use a lot of oil on him, though. So if you don't like the idea of feeling sticky, refrain from using tons of this oil on your body.

I was very upset with EdenFantasys about the packaging of this product. They might not be the ones to blame, but either way, it was unacceptable.

I opened my box to find a good amount of this product leaked out of the bottle. The bottle itself comes inside of a protective tin - yet the bottle was outside of the tin that was opened already.

I'm not returning the product because it was intended to be something special for my fiance and I, but I do wish EdenFantasys took more care in packaging this. The tin itself didn't even have any plastic covering to assure that it stayed closed. This is also something KamaSutra should be fixing as well. The oil got all over me as I was on my way out, and I had to change and throw my clothes into the wash.

The packaging is discreet. The tin looks really similar to a lot of other products, and except for the "KamaSutra" brand name printed, there isn't a lot for you to worry about. The bottle itself just looks like some sort of massage oil or bubble bath, so it is perfect to keep in your bathroom.

The bottle does not have a cork (thank God) as shown on the picture. Instead, it has a black screw-on cap. My cap was actually unscrewing itself due to all the bumping around during the shipping process. However, it kept quite nicely while I stored it at home. I turned the bottle sideways, upside down, and all around without it leaking any further. I only recommend that you don't travel with this product unless you pour some of the oil into another bottle. If it rolls around, the cap will definitely get unscrewed.

There is a very, very slight warming sensation. It is best felt in large quantities, and when used on the genitals and breasts. Not felt very well anywhere else unless your air conditioner is on very high. This was a little disappointing to me. The sample of this oil I felt on my hand in the past felt like it had more of a warming sensation. So I'm wondering if maybe I just got a dud.

There is also a flavoring, but it is not anything to rave about. Far better flavoring than most other products, though. This is good for those who plan to have oral sex after use on genitals.

The scent is much better than the flavor, but is not noticeable unless used in large quantities. Great for those who can't stand overpowering scents.
