Warning: You must wait twelve hours before you ride this ride. I'm not a patient person, so the fact that it had to charge as long as it did threw me. I got this as a gift a while back, so I didn't know what to expect. The size of the head makes it awkward for clitoral stimulation, so though I did try (as you will see below) it in several different ways, it just didn't ring my bell. I wound up using it to massage my back and help alleviate headaches, so the fact that it only stays charged for an hour is really annoying, as I like to use devices like this for a good length of time when I'm massaging my back or working out tension. If you don't mind the big head, then you can get some fun out of it as long as you can wait and an hour is enough. I wouldn't recommend it based on my personal preferences but I tried to be fair in my evaluation for those of you who can get past my hang-ups. I've listed several uses and what I liked about it, so it should give you an idea what to expect if you order it. Other than the wait and a few glitches it's not half bad, so if you want something that charges, read on for an idea of what to expect. Have fun if you buy it; they say patience is a virtue but I'm not all that virtuous.

With the detachable heads, the material can be suitable for just about anyone. If you like things a bit harder, forgo the sleeves. By itself, it has some round spikes on it for a more forceful feeling. The original head can be good for someone who likes a stronger massage either down there or on your back. However, if you prefer a gentler touch, then the round head is a great choice for you. If you like a little tickle, then the bristles are nice. I enjoyed using them as a tease to work my self up. I found that mixing and matching as you go can make for a fun experience and switching things up keeps it interesting. As for the cone, I generally used it for regular massage, though you can turn it sideways and hit both your clit and the entrance to your vagina. I found the double stimulation nice. However, if you're not into hard vibrators, then I suggest you use one of the attachments. This toy should work fine for a beginner. As long as they use the attachments, it's gentle and easy enough.

Having stated why I am not partial to this device, I feel compelled to list the positives and the design does have quite a few positive features. The design is different and very handy for switching up positions or point of contact. The design of this is actually one of its redeeming qualities. The neck of the device has a rubber section that can bend into different positions, which is great in and of itself. The rubber allows for some leeway up, down, to the left and right which can help you reach your special spot...or if you're using it to massage your back, neck etc the rubber helps you dig in deeper for a better massage.

However, even better then the rubber on the neck is the fact that the top part of the handle twists into a variety of positions which can be utilized for a relaxing massage or a "relaxing massage" of the happy ending variety. Either way, the maneuverability of the device is great for reaching that right spot or making it easier to hold in place without straining your wrist so much. It also has different heads to change up the feel of the vibration: a double cone head, round top, and soft bristle. The double cone head is fantastic for headaches if you place it on your over your nose with each cone under an eye. It helped my migraines. Or if you like something soft with a little tickle, the bristles are nice, as is the round top for straight forward massage. If you like something more rough, then you can forgo the attachments. It has a hard surface with sort of rounded spikes. If that's your thing, it's a great feature. Overall, the design is basically well done.

However, having stated the pros to the design, I must point out the cons. As I have indicated, there are flaws in the design... One problem I have encountered is the twisting neck can get stuck, making it somewhat difficult to move around. Another issue is that the heat never really seems to heat up and if you want heat, you have to sacrifice on the vibrations. Also, while great for a massage, the size is a bit big for clitoral stimulation. Again though, my biggest problem with it is the fact that it takes twelve hours to charge. It is supposed to stay charged for an hour, which is a lot of time to wait while it charges. Though for some people, forgoing batteries might make it worth the wait.

As to whether it is good for travel, I'd have to say that yes, I would travel with it. The device looks innocent enough, like a thousand other devices for back massaging. It's not too obvious if you plan to use it for a more exhilarating type of massage.

As I originally stated, my opinion of this product is low...but it has some good functions and as a massage tool, performs great while it lasts. The vibrations are in the head and I suppose despite the wait, the fact that you can charge it would be the best function. I won't go into it again but just saying, the wait time and the size are the not so great functions. I will say the controls were good and easy to use and the swivel head is very convenient. As for noise, it's not exactly quiet but if you're alone, it should be fine. I wouldn't use it in the water since it's a plug in device and the ad doesn't say it's waterproof, so keep it out of the water!

It is pretty simple to clean. I just wipe it with a toy cleaning wipe but I'm sure a slightly wet rag would work. I would just avoid cleaning it in a way that got it too wet. As for storage, I just throw it in a drawer. It's pretty low maintenance in some ways. Although I rarely store it as I'm usually charging it, which makes it high maintenance since it's easy to forget to charge and you have to charge it all the time.

It was just packaged in a basic plastic box but that's how I got it as a gift. I didn't mind, so you can give as is or just throw it in a gift bag.
