Not so great grape
I usually like Not Soap Radio's products but I just couldn't like this one even when I tried. I love the smell as it reminds me of grape Tootsie Pops and it hangs around for a decent amount of time. The taste was just not good to me and it was too thin for my liking.

Not Soap Radio's Matte lip balm is a smooth, slick and thin balm. The balm isn't shiny, it just a thin coating of moisturization for your lips.
It is made of pretty much all natural ingredients but you will still want to check this out if you have allergy concerns like with nuts, fruit, chocolate. Here is the list of ingredients:
Amygdalus Dulcis (Almond) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Beeswax, Persea Gratissima (Avacado Oil), Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Flavor, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E)
There are no phthalates, sulfates, triclosan, or parabens in this stuff.
The texture of the matte balm is smooth and feels a little greasy on your lips and finger. It isn't sticky at all. It isn't greasy enough that I hate it though. The balm is a solid inside the pot and you really have to work your finger around in it to get a good bit if a really thin coat isn't good enough for you. It feels slick when first applied but it absorbs well.
When I first opened the pot I could instantly smell the balm. The first thing that popped into my head was grape Tootsie Pops, those suckers with a Tootsie Roll in the middle. It smells EXACTLY like one of those; sweet and grape. The scent is pretty strong and lingers around for awhile. The taste is more subtle than the smell and in fact doesn't taste like grape at all to me; it just has a sweet taste.
This stuff doesn't hang around long and doesn't seem to keep the lips moisturized very long either. The smell made me want to keep licking my lips despite the fact that I don't care for the taste. I'm a fan of thick balms and glosses so I haven't used this much at all and it just sits in my pile of other lip balms and chapsticks that I didn't care for. I don't like to have to keep reapplying things in what seems like 30 minuets or less.
Mine is a light purple-ish pink color but it goes on clear. It would be good to smooth under or over your lipstick.
The pot is plastic and small enough to carry in your purse or pocket. The label is cute and girly.
Overall, I'm not a fan of this although it does smell delicious to me. It is just too thin and the taste is not one I personally care for.

Follow-up commentary

I don't like this balm and it has since been tossed out when I cleaned out my make-up stash. I just didn't care for the taste, too bad, because it smells really good.
