Not Out of This World
Aside from a bottle that could be improved upon, this body wash has no major flaws. However, it's failed to really wow me, and the price per ounce is less affordable than Cake's Milk Made body washes, which did wow me. If I tried this again, I'd go with a fruity scent for sure.

Pros
Lathers well, leaves skin soft
Cons
Bottle design, scent a little generic, price, contains parabens
I still have quite a bit of my Milk Made Bubbles left, but I wanted to place a big order and empty out my wishlist, so I added in the Milk scented body wash by Venus. My first experience with Venus products was nothing left than gag-worthy, so it was with some trepidation that I tried this body wash. However, plenty of other people have loved it, so I wasn't overly worried.
The bottle is surprisingly small. In fact, I've never had any wash come in a bottle so small. If you had actually told me it was a large size of hand soap, I wouldn't be surprised. At just 8 Fl ounces, this means the price is almost 2 cents per ounce. Although anything by Cake will cost you more, it's ultimately more affordable per unit, which has colored my opinion and will do the same for my review.
I have a second complaint about the bottle: the cap. It means you need two hands to use it, but the hole is so large that more body wash comes out than I mean to pour. The body wash itself is quite thick, so I have a hard time controlling how much I'm trying to put on my shower poof. I've already noticed that this bottle is emptying shockingly fast. A push-top type would make mush more sense and better control application, so that this product lasts longer.
I've had a hard time figuring out just what milk smells like. It does not smell like milk and honey as another reviewer suggested. That is one of my favorite, low-key scents for hand soaps, and this is nothing like it. Sometimes it has that fruity almond/cherry scent, but the overwhelming scent is sort of a generic, soapy clean. It smells like soap you would get at a hotel, that is, it doesn't smell like much at all. It's pretty neutral. This isn't awful, but I was hoping for the milk and honey smell. It doesn't stick on my skin, anyway.
The thick gel lathers fairly well, but it's an odd type of lather that I'd associate with dish soap and not personal body wash. It won't kill me. I'm probably just being finicky, but I just prefer bigger, fluffier lather if at all possible. I wonder if a thinner version would lather just as well and allow me to prolong the life of a single bottle.
One thing I do have to commend is how soft my skin feels after using this product. It's noticeably soft and touchable. Truth be told, I don't much care. I can always put on lotion or powders after the shower, but this is a nice selling point.
I feel no major residue and this doesn't make my shower as slippery as some creamy body washes, which I appreciate. While I have no sensitivities to the ingredients, it does contain both Glycerin and parabens, so you might want to stay away if you have those sensitivities.
I experienced no adverse reaction to anything in this bottle, but it just failed to impress me. I'm not gaga over anything, and the softness of my skin isn't worth the high price tag without me also loving the smell.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I gave up trying to use this as a body wash and just swapped out the cap with the pump from a bottle of soap. It's currently sitting on my sink, and I think I like it better that way. It's just too weird smelling for me.
