No one said anything about peach
I like that this is really moisturizing and that it lasts a while, but I hate the strong peach fragrance. I'd reorder these balms, but in another flavor.

Price, moisturizing
Cons
Not plumping, melts easily
I am a lip balm junkie. When these lip balms came out from Dona by Jo, I had already purchased a dozen the day before so I had to wait to get these. I was glad to see that they had the same range available in their other products like their body scrubs, wash, etc. I had previously gotten the Dona body mist in Goji Berry, so I decided to choose the same flavor because I hadn't smelled the others yet.
The packaging of this balm is a .5 fluid ounce tube and has a yellow sticker on the cap indicating the flavor. This lip balm arrives in the box itself. But because it had melted, it leaked everywhere in the box. So I couldn't use it and had to wait for a replacement to review it properly.
The first issue I had with this was that the scent of this is not at all of goji berry. In a blind test, I wouldn't be able to say there's even a faintest scent of goji berry. All I smell and taste is peach. I don't hate peach, but if I wanted a peach lip balm, I would have gotten one. Upon closer inspection, the tube states "Goji Berry" with "peach melba" written beneath that. What irks me is that this isn't stated on the information when you order, neither is it clearly stated on the package. It's written in smaller font - and for the goji berry variation, with a faded yellow background. Each flavored lip balm has a secondary flavor, but because I haven't tried them all, I can't say if the second listed flavor is stronger than the main. It is for this goji berry lip balm, which really should be called creamy peach lip balm.
Even tasting this has little of goji berry. All I taste is peach, peach, peach! And there's a hint of vanilla which I hate. Taste is not as obvious but it's still there.
Ingredients listed are:
♡ Olea Europeae (Olive) Fruit Oil
♡ Beeswax
♡ Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter
♡ Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter
♡ Riicinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil
♡ Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate
♡ Caprylic Capric Triglyceride
♡ Stearalkonium Hectorite
♡ Propylene Carbonate,
♡ Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12
♡ Simmondsia Chinesis (Jojoba) Seed Oil
♡ Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)
♡ Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract
♡ Menthoxypropanediol
♡ Tetrahexyidecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C)
♡ Vanillyl Butyl Ether
♡ Lycium Barbarum (Goji Berry) Fruit
♡ Flavor
It is also phthalates-, sulfates-, triclosan- and paraben-free.
As far as lip plumping qualities go, I wouldn't say this is a bee-stung plumper. But, it really glides over your lips and makes them look firm and big. There is a slight tingling effect, nothing irritating. So there could be a bit of a plumping effect.
I love that this balm does not leave a white residue on your lips. Usually, I have to take a cloth and rub my lips or wipe off any residue other balms leave behind because it bothers me a lot, which only makes me reapply constantly, which is bad. As soon as you apply this, it melts into your lips and they instantly feel moisturized. I apply this much less than I would need to with others.
Since it is really soft and moisturizing, I also love using this at bedtime so that when I wake up, my lips aren't chapped but rather smooth.
The abundance of moisturizing ingredients used are olive and jojoba oil; vitamin E and honeysuckle make this a better lip moisturizing butter than a plumper.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I use this mainly before I go to bed now so that it keeps my lips moisturized throughout the night. I purchased a few of the other versions and each has a different flavor and texture , so I rotate each one depending on when and what I need. I love these and will continue to purchase as I run out.
