Nice for a Relaxing Soak

I'm indifferent about this product. It's not bad, but not spectacular. I don't think it's a bad deal for the price. If you love bath salts, you might really like this. I'd try a different scent, though, since I don't feel like this is their best one. If you've had reactions to salty products before, maybe try something else. I'll definitely use the whole container, but if I repurchase, it will be a different scent.

Use

I really like the Dona line of products, and have tried a few of them. They have wonderful scents. I usually favor the pomegranate, but I tried the Camu Camu this time since I though my partner would like it. We got a night away at a bed and breakfast, and I thought this would be great for our jacuzzi tub! I think they would be great in a bathtub as well. The whole line is advertised as being aphrodisiac-infused. Anything from this line would make a wonderful gift for most occasions.

The ingredients are: Sodium Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate, Silica, Maltodextrin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Beta Glucan, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Allantoin, Aloe Barbadensis, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Oil, Laminaria Digitata (Algae) Extract, Myrciaria (Camu Camu) Fruit Powder, Fragrance

It is natural, paraben free, petro-derivitive free, and cruelty free.
I had a slight burning sensation on my skin during use in the tub. I think this is because I'm sensitive to salt on my skin. It wasn't bad, though, and didn't cause any lasting effects. I did rinse off in the shower after my soak.
I have very sensitive skin and can't use bubble bath and usually oils due to the glycerin and harsh chemicals and fragrances. They always land me at the gyno with a yeast infection. I did not have an issue with these bath salts! Hooray!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The granules of bath salt are very coarse, but not sharp, and vary in size. Before they dissolve, you could probably use them for a nice scrub if you wanted. They feel nice in your hands; not too smooth, not too rough.
The container's opening is drink-coaster-sized and doesn't have any specific way to dispense the salts. I just tipped the container a bit and shook the amount I wanted out into the water. You could use a spoon or measuring cup if you prefer. Pour them in running water so they disperse as they dissolve.

Taste / Aroma

I kind of wish I'd gone with a different scent. They smell soapy in the jar and a bit too salty in the water. The Camu Camu normally smells like vanilla with a hint of coconut. That smell is present, but not as much as I would have liked. I wouldn't describe it as bad or unexpected, since this is a bath salt and I expected it to smell a little... well, salty.

Performance

The product will last the whole time you soak in your bath; no need to add more halfway through. I did rinse off in the shower after my soak because of the slight burning sensation. After some soap and warm water, the burning went away. I didn't notice any residue or discoloration in the tub.
My only real issue with the product is the burning, but it really wasn't bad or painful, just noticeable.

Follow-up commentary
It's not that I don't like this, I just don't love it. I feel like the issues with it are more my problem than the product's though, since I have sensitive skin. Salty burning is no fun!
