As an actual massager, I love this, but as a vibrator, it kind of scares me. When you use it on sore muscles, or just for a random sensual back rub, this toy is wonderful! My husband and I like to take turns using it on each other.

When I first opened it up, I was a little intimidated. I was expecting it to be much smaller than it's foot long size. The ball on top that has the vibrations is about the size of a tennis ball. Then on top of that, you have a cord attached so you can plug it into a wall. The cord is about 3 feet long, and I had to use an extension cord with it, but it worked out pretty well.

This is a rather loud vibrator. Even on the low setting, it can sound like it's going to wake up the entire house, but I did some experimenting, and even in a room with no door, you can't hear it in the next room.

Like I said, as a vibrator I'm not really a fan of this toy. Honestly it makes my entire vagina itch horribly, and I read somewhere once that itching has something to do with the threshold of pain. On top of that it has in the "Danger" instructions to not put it anywhere damp or wet. Which means vagina's. I'm sure most people can handle the intense vibrations from this, but I'm not one of them, so I'll stick with using it for massages. I'm sure now you're wondering what the vibrations are like. Well, it's the strongest of any of my toys. I usually like a lot of vibrations, but just a few seconds of this guy, and I couldn't handle it. It's really strong. If you're worried about using it for masturbation though, use it on you back.

Functions / Controls

It's extremely easy to use and figure out. You have to plug it into an outlet to get it to start. There's just a little switch on it that you click down on for the lower vibration setting (Still very powerful) and you click it up for the higher vibration setting. When you want to turn it off, just push the switch to the middle, and unplug it.

You should also turn this off before 25 minutes. It should never be run longer than that. This was really stressed in the instructions, so it's gotta be important!

Care & Maintenance

This is really easy to take care of. If you want to wipe it off, you can use a damp cloth with warm water and mild soap. Do not submerge it though. This is not a waterproof toy. Just always remember to unplug it after every use, and taking care of it is easy. I keep mine in my toy box, or in the dresser by my bed. It doesn't really matter where you store it.

If you decide to leave it laying around, you could always tell people it's for back rubs and things like that, but I think the Hitachi Magic Wand is pretty recognizable.

I really recommend this toy for either people who need really strong vibrations, or people with frequent muscle soreness. This is perfect for either of those problems!

I still really love this toy. It's way too strong for me to use it often, but I use it every once and a while. It's still in almost perfect condition. I've stopped being as sensitive when I use it, which is awesome.

I also occasionally use this for massages too.
