My Heart Is Floating
Floating candles really are a nice way to spice things up. Make a creative centerpiece, or just some relaxing mood lighting. They don't work that well in the bath, but look amazing in glass bowls.

Pros
Float nicely, Burn nicely, Look awesome while lit in glass bowls
Cons
A bit pricey for 6 candles that only last 2 hours
Floating candles can be a cheap and easy way to add a touch of class to decor, or a touch of romance to any night. Most don't actually fare that well in something like a bathtub, since too much movement in the water will create a wave that will put the candle out, but there's nothing that says you can't keep them in a glass or a small glass bowl filled with water. I suggest only using glass for a few reasons, one of which being that you could in theory start a wood bowl on fire if something went horribly wrong, plastic could melt, and there's something really nice about all the extra light you get to see by lighting them in a clear glass bowl.
With this particular set, you get a total of 6 heart shaped candles, and you can choose from one of 6 colors: red, blue, pink, purple, yellow, and white. Each of the 6 candles has a palm wax base, is about 1 3/4" across and claim to burn for up to 2 hours, however there were some pretty sizable indents after just 20 minutes. Even still, I let them burn til they put themselves out and that took 40 minutes for the first one to go. All the rest lived on into their "designated burn time."
The wicks should be trimmed down to 1/4", but don't necessarily have to. I didn't trim mine, and they burned just fine the whole time. The wicks are coated in the same wax as the candle, so it might take a second or two for the flame to catch. If you're using smaller glass containers, be careful when placing a lit candle so you don't burn yourself.
I have the pink ones, and while there doesn't claim to be a scent, they're pretty heavily scented like fake roses. It reminds me of almost a cheap potpourri. So sensitive noses beware right out of the package. I didn't really notice much of a scent once they were lit.
They do look really nice while burning in the water, definitely adding a very nice touch to the decor and giving off a nice relaxing glow. As mentioned earlier, I wouldn't use them directly in the bathtub, but investing in a set of small cheap glass bowls to line the edge of the bathtub with.
You can use any size glass container to hold however many of them that you want. Put them all in one large bowl (caution, they tend to migrate and clump together), or separate them out into individual bowls or even glasses. Below you'll see a few pictures I took of them burning in water.
First I dropped one in a drinking glass:
Then I put one in a small glass bowl:
And I put the rest into a larger glass bowl that was on a stand. If you're going to go for a centerpiece of sorts, this is the way I'd do it:

Experience
All in all, I'm relatively pleased with these. I don't know as I'd necessarily go out and buy tons of them, but for the occasional party or bubble bath, they're really nice. They might not last the whole night, but if you split the package up, you should get a nights worth out of them.
