My hair smells a bit like an enchanted forest
This Principessa shampoo smells great, leaves your hair clean and soft, and comes in a nice bottle too. It's a nice shampoo if you want to splurge and treat yourself to a fancy looking beauty product.

Pros
Smells lovely, leaves hair soft
Cons
Doesn't lather well, a bit pricy
This Treme Tresses shampoo is made by Principessa Beauty and comes sent in a 12 oz bottle. The box had a fragile sticker on it, so I thought the bottle would be glass, but it's made of plastic. The bottle looks like this:
The product is paraben and phthalates free. Also, the company does not test on animals, if you like to use cruelty-free beauty products.
The ingredients list is:
Aqua, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamide MEA, Parfum, Glycol, Distearate, Polyquaternium-70, Dipropylene Glycol, Keratin, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Silk Amino Acids, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Oat Protein, PEG-7, Glyceryl Cocoate, Polyquaternium-7, Polyquaternium-10, Tetrasodium EDTA, Pomegranate (Punica Granatum) Extract, Grape (Vitis Vinifera) Seed Extract, White Pine Bark (Pinus Strobus) Extract, Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis) Leaf Extract, Ginseng (Panax Ginseng) Extract, Camomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Algae Extract, Bearberry (Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi) Extract, Coneflower (Echinacea Angustifolia) Extract, Licorice (Glycyrrhiza Glabra) Root Extract, Phenoxyethanol Methylchlroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Citric Acid.
The bottle has a pink label, which was a little misleading, the shampoo itself is just white. I was a little disappointed, I won't lie. But even though the shampoo isn't a fun color, it's still got a wonderful scent. I'd describe it as a mix of rose petal, orange and vanilla. This is definitely a very, very feminine scent. The shampoo is average thickness and squeezes out of the bottle easily. I poured about a half dollar amount in my palm (my hair is shoulder length and thick, so you may need to use less).
I found that the shampoo didn't lather very well, so I ended up washing it twice with the shampoo before my hair felt clean. However, in the interest of full disclosure, I do have thick and oily hair which needs a lot of lather to clean completely. Those with more average or thin hair probably will not need to shampoo twice for their hair to feel clean. After I blow dried my hair, I found that my hair felt silkier than usual, and definitely soft. The scent lingered in my hair after washing, which is nice as I do like the scent. However, if you aren't into heavy perfumed shampoos, you may find the scent too strong for you.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
At first I didn't like this shampoo because it didn't lather well at all, but I've started using it more and the scent and softness factors make up for that. I'm not sure if I'd purchase it again, but I am glad I got this shampoo from EF.
