The Contour Q duo remind me of gorgeous ceramic seashells. They fit so easily in the palm of your hand. The small stones are extremely versatile for their tiny size!

All of Jimmyjane's massage stones can be warmed and cooled for different sensations, like a hot stone massage at a spa. This can be achieved with hot/cold water or setting them inside the fridge. But Jimmyjane advises not to microwave. The stones are smooth glazed and an elegant white with simple font saying "jimmyjane" in gray along the pointy nodes.

The Contour Q consist of two different stones that share the same, almost lemon-shape. The ends are great nodes for pinpoint massaging. The middles are different between the pair. One stone has ridges, the other has different sized bumps all over. Between the two I love the bumpy one the best.

Jimmyjane's packaging is modern and simple in design, the stones are securely packaged within paper. I enjoy the fact that no plastic is used so the entire packing can be tossed in the recycling.

Inside the package is a booklet that explains the different ways the Contour Q can be used, along with other Contour massagers (good way to advertise and get you hooked on the others!). The Contour Q duo can be rubbed or rolled along the skin, the nodes can be used for pressure points, or light temple massages and hands.

I've found two ways that I really like. Holding one of the stones between thumb and second finger and letting it roll along the skin. The other way is to simply sprawl out on the couch and put one of the stones underneath my foot, rolling it back and forth along the cushions. The node is perfect for working the arch of the foot. I enjoyed the bumpy one the best for feet! This was a treat after a long spring walk and my feet were aching.

Another thing I love about Jimmyjane massagers is that if you go to their website they offer even more ways to use the stones, especially in more sexual ways like rolling the cold stones on the underside of the penis for a delightful sensation! These two stones would be great rolling along the sensitive inner thighs as well. I could go on and on about other uses for these stones, but I'll spare you the reading and allow you to experiment at home!

The Contour Q are quite easy to clean, just a little water and mild soap before hand drying returns them to brand new.

In my opinion this pair of little ceramic seashells are a perfect foreplay toy, or excellent aftercare after an intense flogging session.

I also have the Contour M which is the broad stone with four underside nodes. The Contour Q stones can be put inside and used to roll along the skin. Without oil though I found the noise of the ceramic stones rubbing together to be grating on the ears.

As some have said, the bumpy stone of the duo doesn't roll as well as the ridged when placed inside the Contour M. What I found can help if you are using this for a foot massage is to set the Contour M upside down, exposing the nodes and Contour Q stone and gliding your foot over the top.

These massagers do work together, but I personally would rather use them separately because of the sound. I think it's definitely worth purchasing both though for different sensations.
