A few months back, I was reading the newspaper one morning. Yes, I do still read the newspaper every morning. I know it is totally old school and I know that I could be given a lot of shit for saying that in print. But I do. So anyways, I was reading the paper. There was a little write up about a couple that would use massage oil and give each other massages as a bonding moment. I know that I have mentioned this article before. But after I read it, my husband and I stocked up on massage oils and lotions. I thought it would be a wonderful way for him to relax before going to bed. We are doing it more and more right now because of his stress levels from his new job.

When we where stocking up on massage oils and lotions, we did pick up Kama Surta's Oil of Love. It comes in a number of scents/flavors; original, raspberry kiss, vanilla sugar, chocolate mint, cherry almond, and ambrosia. They all come in four ounce glass bottles. The fluid is held in with a cork stopper. Even though my stopper was really good and strong, I would still be careful to store Oil of Love up right. My gut kept telling me that this could leak like crazy if you're not careful with it. It's made out of glycerin, propylene glycol, water (aqua/eau), sucrose, citric acid, sodium saccharine, flavor (aroma), yellow 6 (ci 15985), red 40 (ci 16035), and blue 1(ci 42090).

Kama Surta's Oil of Love had a light syrup kind of feel to it. It wasn't sticky or even that greasy. It only takes a little bit of the oil to do a full back rub down. However, be fast about the massage because the oil absorbed very fast in my husband's skin and in my skin. My skin is dry so I can see why it absorbed so fast in mine, but my husband doesn't have dry skin. I think that Kama Surta's Oil of Love may just absorb fast.

The scent and flavor is spot on. It really does smell the way that it says that it's going to smell. And the tastes is amazing. Sometimes I wish that candy tasted this good. The flavor actually holds well on the skin after more than a few licks in the same spot.

It says to blow on the oil once it's on the body to warm it up, but that doesn't really work. I found that if you just breath on it the oil will heat right up on any part of the body right away. The heat will hold for more than a few seconds and it feels amazing on a cold night.

I'm kind of loving my little collection of Oil of Love

The Oil of Love really feels like lotion after a while. It seems to be more of a moisturizer than anything the more I use it.
