Dona massage oil is an amazing massage oil for couples (or yourself!). The product is free of harmful chemicals, has a pretty strong scent, but not overpowering, and a smooth texture. The oil is great for foreplay as it absorbs into the skin nicely and won't need to be washed off to prevent it from getting all over.

Dona's oil is thin, but a pretty normal consistency for massage oils. It is easy to pour, and does move some from where you pour it, but won't drip off your partner's back before you start your massage. It has a wonderfully smooth texture, and absorbs into the skin nicely. I loved the fact I wasn't dripping in oil at the end of my massage, but I can see that some may say it soaks in too fast.

I didn't bother taking any sort of precaution to protect my bedding from the oil, but none were required. I did end up wiping a little on my sheets when I applied to much (apparently not thinking it could damage them) and was happy to see it didn't leave a stain. There was a spot if you looked very closely but it washed out without any special care.

The oil has a pretty strong scent, but not I'm sensitive to scents and didn't find it bothersome. The pomegranate scent is slightly fruity, but has something else I can't quite figure out how to describe. For those who don't like fruity scents, this would still be a good option. The scent did linger for about an hour after the massage. However, f I shower after, the scent is washed away with the oil.

Dona massage oil absorbs quickly, but leaves enough of a "slip" for a great massage. My partner and I loved the consistency, but have never been fans of overly oily massages. Should you apply more product, it will absorb some as well. After the massage, your skin will shine some and it is apparent there is still some product on it, but it didn't transfer to my sheets or clothes. If you choose to wash it off (though you don't need to) it washes easily with soap and water.

The packaging was, quite honestly, why I chose the product. All Dona oils come in a (mostly) orange bottle with a lace type pattern. The is attractive enough for my nightstand, which is where it sits. These oils are relatively small, at only 4oz, which is small enough for travel (assuming you're checking your bags!).

Despite it's small size, Dona massage oil is a great value for the price. I've used the product quite a few times and you can barely tell it's been used at all! The top is easy to open with one and and the oil is easy to apply. I have found, however, that a little of the oil gets on the top if I'm not careful. It's not enough to really matter, but it can make the bottle a little slippery!

The bottle notes that this oil is paraben free, cruelty free, natural, and petroleum derivative free. It also states the oil is aphrodisiac infused.

I loved the consistency of Dona massage oil. Next time, I may choose a different scent, but that would be at the protests of my partner, who can't get enough of the pomegranate! My partner has oily/acne prone skin, while I've always tended toward dry, sensitive skin. The oil worked great for both of us, and didn't cause any adverse reactions. Do note, however, this is a massage oil and should not be used as a personal lubricant.

I've always had trouble sleeping, and was told by my doctor to get a massage every night (ladies, I highly recommend you get this prescription!). Of course, I picked up some massage oil. Dona's oil was packaged pretty enough to leave on my nightstand, and had natural ingredients.

I enjoyed a half hour back massage without having to reapply the oil. The scent lasted for about an hour after that, but the oil absorbed into my skin. After it absorbs my skin was quite soft, which was a bonus! Because it absorbs quickly, this made for a great "before bed" massage oil. Should you have other activities planned for post-massage, you may want something that hangs around longer.
