Make me quiver & shake!
Durex Play, 'Quiver,' is a great choice for temperature play either solo or with a partner. It's perfect for a hot summer night, or when things are getting a little too steamy under the covers. Quiver is a great concept that will leave you shivering!

Pros
Easy to use, Nice consistency
Cons
Horrible taste
Quiver is one of the most creative lubricants that I've ever encountered, and definitely leave you with goosebumps! Quiver is a freezable lubricant, which makes it perfect if you're looking to try temperature play. Quiver melts once it comes into contact with skin, so it's fabulous for an icy massage! Because Quiver is water based, it doesn't leave a sticky or greasy residue on your skin; the consistency is smooth and allows your hands or toys to glide along you or your partner with ease.
I found that it took approximately 2 hours to freeze Quiver before I was able to use the product frozen. The cubes come in three sets of two. The Quiver cubes can be frozen for a total of 6 times if unopened, so if you freeze the cubes two at a time but only use one of them, you can always pop it back into the freezer for another night of freezing-frisky fun!
The Quiver cubes reminded me of contact lense packages, they are round plastic packages with a silver foil seal. Because this isn't your average lubricant, you could easily put these into your freezer without anything noticing what they were.
Quiver is a glycerin free product, so it's great for everyone to use; even if you're prone to yeast infections. Quiver is water based and can be used with a wide variety of toys, as well as condoms.
Quiver didn't have a real noticable smell, but it did have a very faint taste that I felt left a bad after taste in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend this product for oral use, but if the taste doesn't bother you...why not?
The lubricant in it's frozen state is 100% frozen, and melts with contact to warm skin. When it is room temperature, it is a very runny liquid. In both frozen, and room temperature states, Quiver feels great, absorbs well and doesn't leave a residue.

Experience
I've never been really into temperature play, so I was a little anxious about how cold this was really going to be for me. Quiver was about what I expected however, it melted smooth and silky and didn't leave any sort of sticky, slimy or greasy feeling. Using Quiver as a massage lubricant is fantastic, and I liked the icy cold feeling on my skin. Quiver melts on contact, and feels smooth and silky on your skin.
While I enjoyed the cold feeling on my arms, chest and legs; I just couldn't handle this being inserted. It was way too cold for me! But, I was new to temperature play, so hopefully with a few more tries I might end up enjoying the feeling. For now though, I'm just a little too sensitive for how cold it is.

I love this product! I contact Durex a few weeks back though since it's been out of stock everywhere and apparently it's been discontinued Great review though!

Discontinued? Why? This is such a neat idea. I wish I'd known about it.
