None of the items in the kit have a smell to them. The rose petals are fake but still look great when all spread out or in a little pile. The ring vibration is only on the part were the battery is, also were the rigidness is. It is hard to turn on and kind of has a hard time staying on. The massager is waterproof, but I would not recommend using it in the water unless you know for sure the battery cover is screwed on tightly.

All the items in this kit are really easy to take care of. Everything can be washed besides for the electric candle, but I don't really think it should need to be washed. You can put this kit pretty much anywhere, I would recommend keeping it in the container though. When washing the vibrating ring, you'll need to take the pink cover off, and you can just put it back on after done washing/rinsing it off.
