Love the Scrub, Not the Oil
Still not sure if I am a fan of this hand scrub. The smell is amazing, the after effect is great, but the amount of oil is a huge turn off plus it ruins the bottle's label as well as any fabric it comes into contact with

Pros
feels really good natural ingredients skin feels silky and smooth after use
Cons
Very oily, stains fabric, tears dry cuticles
I purchased the Cake beauty brand Milk Made Smoothing Hand Buffer because I got tired of paying large sums every month for manicures and pedicures so I decided to try and do them myself at home and save a little money. I always enjoyed the scrubbing massage portions of the mani/pedi's so I figured I would buy this scrub to suppliment the one they use in the expensive nail salons.
First of all, do not forget to use the plastic spoon the scrub comes with to stir up the product before using it. The sugar particles sink to the bottom of the bottle while an oily substance sits on top. If you are not careful enough to keep the bottle right side up because the oily substance will spill and leak out of the bottle. The oil stains fabrics too so be extra careful not to let it spill out onto your clothing and be careful to rinse it all off before drying your hands because it can ruin your towels too. It will also drip down the side of the bottle and basically destroy the label on the bottle so be sure to read everything on the label you are interested in reading before you open it!
There are mostly natural ingredients in this product. No parabens, no sulfates, no phthalates, no triclosan. Instead there are ingredients such as real sugar, grape seed oil, almond oil, avacado oil, coconut oil, and milk amino acids. Notice how almost all of the ingredients are in some form of oil? Still not sure if I dig that! One ingredient I do hate, however, is the artificial coloring.
I will say, however, I thoroughly enjoyed the scent of this product. It is almost like a warm and moist fresh from the oven raspberry cupcake with sweet and creamy vanilla frosting. Once again, the Cake beauty brand brings more guilt free indulgence to the table.
As far as value is concerned, you are getting a fairly decent amount of product for the price. For only $17.99 you are getting a 4.9 fluid ounce bottle.
