Pros
Inexpensive, mood enhancer
Cons
Cheap packaging
The Floating Hearts candles by Bell-A-Roma Candles are a nice effect for a romantic evening. I wouldn't suggest using them in the bathtub because they are small enough that they would probably tip over or burn you as they floated by. They look nice in a glass bowl or cocktail glass, or arrange them on a plate and burn them.
They came in a package of 6. The package itself is cheap, thin plastic and had come apart before I even opened the package but I wasn't going to keep them in it anyway. Each one measures 1 3/8" x 2". Mine are purple and before burned had a very faint floral smell, once I burned them they didn't seem to have much of a smell.
I have a fairly large glass bowl that is pretty shallow and I put fish tank marbles in the bottom and added water. Then I placed the candles in the bowl. They have a burn time of 2 hours. I only burned them for about 20 minutes before blowing them out and heading to bed. They are still on my bathroom counter in the bowl and still look pretty. I figure I can get probably 3 more uses out of them before I have to order more.
I wish that the scent was stronger, but they didn't claim to smell good. They add a nice touch to a romantic couples bath. Turn out the lights, get some edible body wash, a water proof vibrator and let your imaginations take over. For the price I would suggest to anyone that they are worth the investment even if you only get one romantic evening out of them, or just use them as a decoration for your home. I found a little birds nest outside that I think some would look great arranged in it and placed on a windowsill or shelf.
