The Infrared Rechargeable Massager is a plastic wand massager with SoftTouch attachments. The main reason that I wanted to get this massager was that 1. It was rechargeable and 2.The attachment that was affixed to the head of the massager was a "roller wheel" style.

The infrared rechargeable massager is great for all over aches and pains anywhere on the body. This massager has two main functions. Vibration and infrared. On one side of the massager head you have the vibrating/Massaging side. On the other side you have a smooth, rounded area that lights up and functions as the infrared side.


The neat thing about this massager is that it swivels mid-way for easy reach on the shoulders, neck, back and other hard to reach areas when using this solo. This massager is very light and would be great for those that do not want something heavy or bulky. This is meant to be a "massage massager" not necessarily a sex toy. Although, I suppose if you so inclined, you could find a way to make this product suit your purpose.

The Infrared Rechargeable Massager itself, is made of a matte plastic material. It is extremely light weight (comparatively) and feels nice and comfortable in the hand. There is no funky smell to this product, or its attachments.

These attachments are made of a "SoftTouch" material and consists of PVC and silicone. So these attachments are very flexible, thin and soft to the touch. They almost have a smooth, velvety feeling to them. They do tend to drag a bit on the skin, so I recommend using this massager (attachment/vibrating side) on top of clothing or some sort of cloth between you and the massager.

The infrared side of the massager is very smooth plastic. It glides nicely along clothing and even along the skin unless you are sweating or wet/moist.

The SoftTouch Material is very porous and is not compatible with several other materials. Make sure to store these attachments in a safe, separate compartment away from other toys. Dyes will transfer onto this material as well. Being very porous, you will want to make sure that you are vigilant about cleaning your attachments before and after ever use, to avoid infections or bacteria growth. Of course, if using in a sexual manner, make sure to use something with antibacterial soap or wipes.

You have the attachment that is actually part of the massager itself and cannot be removed. This attachment is a rolling wheel, of sorts. It does have small, raised bumps going all around the piece and feels delicious when rolled against the skin!

There are three separate attachments. Each attachment is different from the other. They "clip" onto the front of the head of the massager, over the wheel-like piece.

You have a scalp massager (the long nubbies), the rounded/smooth attachment and then you have the two "bumps" attachment that is for pinpoint massage and deep tissue massage.

The swivel feature that is located about mid-way down the massager is great for reaching hard to reach areas such as the back, neck and shoulder blades. The flexible head is nice, but if you are wanting to apply more pressure to a certain area, this flexible head could "give" more than you'd like, causing you to lose pressure in that area.

Travel Friendly? I would say so, depending on what you have to pack it in. It fits into my small duffel bag and if worse comes to worse, you can always try to use the swivel feature to make it more compact. Just make sure that you bring (and don't lose) the charger!


The Infrared Rechargeable Massager is 11 1/2 inches long and 3 inches wide. It weighs roughly 1 1/2 pounds.

When you first receive the massager it states that you must charge it for 12 hours before use. There is a small battery pack that comes with this massager for charging. The charger is inserted through the plug on the very bottom of the handle.

This massager was left on at my spa party. Which really stunk, because after about 15-20 minutes of it being on, it turned off. We noticed it because my friends' daughter had made me aware that she no longer had something to entertain herself with!

So, needless to say, even after charging it for as long as I was supposed to, to start with, and keeping it off pretty much the entire time at the party and in between, that 15-20 minutes of use totally drained the battery. Thankfully, I had back up! (Aphrodite and Infrared Massager).

The on/off switch is located in the center of the handle. It is about an inch or inch and a half long, so you can't miss it. It has decent sized lettering, so its easy to read. You can only have Low Heat/High Vibrations or High Heat/Low Vibrations with this massager. So both functions will be running at the same time, just not at the same intensity.

The infrared feature on this massager was very disappointing. I have found though, that none of the three of my "infrared" massagers work enough to say so. You can feel a slight warmth coming from the infrared side after about 10 or 15 minutes. After that though, thats all you get. It doesn't warm up any more than that. Which is very disappointing, seems I bought these massagers for, mainly, this purpose.

This massager is NOT waterproof! Make sure that you do not keep this charging anywhere that moisture could get into it. Also, once it is done charging, make sure to take it off the charger. "Over-Charging" electric items too long can actually damage them, making their ability to last to their fullest potential (off the charger) much shorter.

It says that you are able to use water based lubricants with the kind of material that the attachments are made out of, but personally I would not risk using oils or lubricants with this. Simply because any type of liquids (including oils and lubes) is going to damage this massager in the event that it makes its way into a crack or crevice somewhere.

Its not a "quiet" or light buzzing massager, but its not going to wake the roommate in the other room either. I would give it a 3 out of 5 on noise. The vibrations are pretty decent, but they aren't going to work a knot out unless you're really digging with it. Its more of a "light massager" in my opinion. Again, this is comparative to the Aphrodite and Infrared Massager.

I would simply wash the attachments in warm, soapy water. As for the wand massager itself, I would take an alcohol wipe or antibacterial wipes to wipe it down. This is NOT a waterproof massager, so make sure to take care not to get it wet, moist or damp! If your wipe has a bit too much liquid in it, I would ring it out just to make sure you don't leave behind some extra water or cleaner.

I would feel comfortable saying that anyone could use this. At the spa party that I hosted this past weekend, my girlfriends' 2 year old daughter figured it out right away! She was fussy, so I threw her one of my wand massagers. She figured out how to turn it on, then she sat Indian style on the floor and stuck the head of the massager to her foot! Too funny! She had never played with one of those before, so Im assuming that if a 2 year old can figure it out, you'll be just fine!
