Dona Body Lotion from System Jo is a part of a sensual line of body care products. This line offers various items that are set up in steps that will help get you feeling, looking, and smelling sexy. This lotion is from the Nourish step, designed to "make your skin touchable and kissably soft".

Best used after a bath or shower, this lotion can be applied to any area of the body. Whether you're trying to eliminate dry skin, trying to keep your soft skin hydrated, or are simply looking to layer yourself in a light scent, this lotion is a great item to grab. After showering isn't the only time this lotion can be used. It's great throughout the day to freshen up and moisturize your skin, but will last better if you're applying it to fresh, clean skin.

Nothing about the product is intended to enhance oral sex, should not be used as a lubricant, and is not intended to be a sexual aid of any kind. It does say it is aphrodisiac infused, but that's it. You could use this product during a massage, but Dona already has you covered there as well. It's a lotion designed to hydrate your skin, simple as that.

The scents this lotion comes in are quite feminine, but that doesn't mean someone more masculine couldn't use them. As long as you don't mind it leaving a light, lovely scent, than it can be used by anyone! While there are natural ingredients, this isn't a 100% natural product so if you have sensitive skin, you'll want to make sure you look through the ingredients list prior to using, and test a small area of your skin if you're unsure. It's always better to be save than slather it on yourself and have a reaction.

This lotion has a similar feel and consistency to most lotions; it's very slick and totally smooth. It doesn't have any beads or texture to it though it looks like there are small dark flecks of something within the lotion. However, what's different is that it's not creamy, but has a very wet feeling to it when you first apply. It's much thinner than a body butter, but isn't so thin that it will run down your arm before you've had the chance to rub it in.

Because it's not a thick lotion, it feels light and comfortable on your skin and absorbs very well. It doesn't feel greasy or oily, and doesn't feel like you have a layer of something caked on the top of your skin. Instead, it feels totally natural and leaves only soft, smooth skin in its place.

Dona Body Lotion is available in six different scents; Pomegranate, Mangosteen, Camu Camu, Acai, Goji Berry, and Blue Lotus. The name of the lotion is based on the aphrodisiac that it's infused with, so it might smell a little different than you're expecting it to based on the name.

Blue Lotus is the lotion I have. It has a very fresh, clean scent to it that is slightly floral, but has a little bit of a cucumber/melon scent to it as well. I've never actually smelled a blue lotus flower before so I can't compare it to that, but it's very unique and unlike any other product I've smelled before (apart from the other Dona products in this scent). It's very attractive and though it's more feminine than not, a man could use this product without shame because of the clean scent it produces. My husband has used this and didn't bat an eyelash at the scent.

When first applied, the scent is very obvious. It's not so strong that someone will think you're trying to cover up some type of body odor, but if you were to stand close to someone they would be able to smell it. After a few hours, the scent tones down and you're still able to smell it on your skin, but someone would need to be close enough to hug you in order to smell it. After several hours, the scent is still noticeable but is a little harder to detect. You could easily go a full day after only applying it once in the morning, and still smell it lightly on your skin by evening. Your activity level will obviously change how long the scent lasts, but it should last quite a while, even if you're very active. Pairing it up with the same scent in another Dona product will make the results even better.

This product is not meant for consumption, but if your partner is getting a little desperate to have their mouth all over your body, they shouldn't pick up much of a taste unless you've just applied the lotion. About ten minutes after applying the lotion, there was no taste of it on my skin.

This lotion works very well at hydrating your skin and leaving it feeling fresh and smelling great! The texture of the lotion is lovely and the fact that it absorbs so well into the skin is a huge plus! Keep in mind that you don't need to use a lot in order for it to do its job. One pump is enough for each arm, two pumps for each leg, etc. Keep in mind that you can always add more, but it's hard to rub it all in if you apply too much.

Should you apply this lotion and decide for whatever reason that you don't care for it, you can clean it off with a wipe, or wash with soap and water. The scent will still linger a little bit if only washing in the sink, so if the scent is the issue, you'll want to take a shower to eliminate it. If it's only the feeling of it, the shower isn't totally necessary.

This lotion comes in a clear plastic bottle with a black pump top that has a seal on it, preventing it from leaking during shipping. The label on the bottle is attractive looking and contains all the necessary information about the product. The bottle clearly notes that it's paraben free, cruelty free, natural, and petro. deriv. free. The background color is a pale orange, and above it is a maroon lace pattern. The label is discreet in general, but does have the word 'aphrodisiac' on it. While the rest of the bottle remains discreet, this one word could bother some. If that's the case, you can easily peel the label off and simply leave it as a plain plastic bottle.


This bottle contains 8.5 fl. oz. of the lotion. It's not travel sized and you wouldn't be able to fly with it since it doesn't fit into TSA's liquid rules. However, it wouldn't be hard to grab a smaller bottle and fill it up for your purse, car, or for on the go since this is a great lotion to have on hand (literally).

The pump top is very easy to use and the lotion flows from it with ease. This is great because you only need one hand to dispense it, but if you're storing you'll want to make sure it's upright and nothing will be coming in contact with the pump. If you need to store it laying down, make sure you press the pump down and twist it. When you twist it, it's actually locking the pump down, preventing it from popping up and allowing any lotion to come out of it.

When your bottle is empty, you can recycle it as you would your other plastic items.

This would make a very attractive addition to a gift basket for a female friend or relative, but seems lacking when gifted on its own. It's discreet enough that it could be given to just about anyone with them flushing at the thought of what it contains. This lotion would be suitable for teenagers to adults, but shouldn't be given to children.

Though this product claims to be aphrodisiac infused, I haven't noticed a difference when using this compared to my other lotions that don't contains aphrodisiacs. Purchase this product because it sounds like a nice lotion, not because you're thinking it will attract someone to you, because you'll probably be highly disappointed. Results will vary, but don't count on this one being amazing based on what it's 'infused' with.

I love lotion! I love smelling nice, my skin feeling soft, and how bright my tattoos look when my skin is nicely hydrated. After trying out one of the massage oils from Dona, I threw a few other items into a wishlist, hoping I would like the Blue Lotus scent. I bought the body wash first, and then was surprised with a special gift from an Eden friend of mine. She bought me the body wash, this lotion, and a couple other things; I was so excited! Immediately after taking photos, I opened the lotion and tried it out. I loved the way it felt on my skin and was so impressed with how nicely it absorbed.

When this lotion starts to get low, I will promptly purchase another one! The long lasting scent, the natural feel, the fact that it actually hydrates and isn't greasy; it's a winner all day!
