I am a slut for peppermint. I love the stuff; it doesn't matter if it's in lotion, in tea, in a car deodorizer, in my body scrub, in my shampoo, or anywhere else. I love peppermint. So when I saw that Bella Il Fiore had come up with yet another peppermint product, I had to buy this. I'm happy that I did, as I live in New York, and if you know anything about the Northeast winters, they're awful and cold, and you generally run around with a red nose and chapped lips for nearly a quarter of the year, so this product came out right on time, too.
The package is adorable, it's a tiny little rectangle with black and pale pink stripes on it, that folds at the top to seal. It has the Bella Il Fiore logo in swirls, and on the small bit about what the purpose of this kit is, and the website. Inside are two little hard plastic canisters with black plastic screw on lids. The outside is decorated in a similar pattern, of pink with black stripes, and the Bella Il Fiore logo, as well. Each canister is labled with either "Rescue Me" or "Sugar Kisses". Oddly, only one of the containers lists the ingredients, so I'm assuming they're either identical ingredients (although I don't see how that's possible, since they're so different in texture, scent, and feel), or they're a combined ingredient list. I'm going to opt for the latter.
The box doesn't tell you what order to use them in, although it does tell you which is the scrub and which is the treatment, so with a bit of common sense (not that it's entirely common anymore), I'm sure you can figure out which order to use it in.
Ingredients: Carthamus Tinctarius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Beeswax, Theebroma Cacoa (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butyrespermum parki (Shea) Butter, Simmandsia Ehinewsis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E).

Experience
Here's my lips before any product or moisturizer, in their fully natural, normal state, for a comparison.
I started with the Sugar Kisses Peppermint Lip Scrub, and got about a pea sized amount on my fingertips and then rubbed it into my lips. First impression? Man this tastes amazing! It's a pepperminty-sugary mix of therapy and goodness for your lips. After about a minute of scrubbing, and getting the stuff as close to rubbed in as I could get it, while still continuing to "buff" my lips with the scrub, I wiped it off with a wash cloth and warm water. I'm not sure if you can see in the below image, but even after over a minute of scrubbing, the sugar granules stayed whole, so it's not just wasted buffing. It's actually doing its job the whole time.
After wiping my lips dry, I applied the "Rescue Me" Peppermint Lip Treatment. This one isn't as pleasant tasting as the first one, and has a bit of a waxy residue. In fact, this one reminds me more of a lip balm or chap-stick than anything else. It's got a bit of kick to it, though, and I can feel my lips tingling with the Rescue Me that I didn't feel with the Sugar Kisses. This also is smooth and moisturizing, and actually is a product that I am happy to use every morning. Being allergic to nearly all makeup products, I am forced to take very good care of my face, since I have to rely on my natural features and a few choice glosses. This product is now part of my nightly regime, and the gloss I use additionally in the morning, too.
