Linty but soft?

This towel is pretty cheaply made, and it's pretty obvious when you get down to it. However, it's pretty soft and nice on toys that aren't going to attract lint (something it has an insane amount of), or on your face. Pretty much okay, for a towel you'd get for free.

Now, this was a pretty interesting deal from Eden. You either buy one of the Leaf toys, or even the towel itself...And you receive a towel for free. I have a hard time saying no to this kind of thing, since it's, y'know, free. I was hoping to find a nice towel that wouldn't leave linty bits all over my favorite toys. I have mostly hijacked a bath towel for this, because everything else was leaving horrible amounts of lint all over everything.

I was kind of sadly disappointing in this towel. It left more lint on my toys than I could ever have imagined. It's not very well made, and seems to be coming apart at the edges a bit on one of the towels. For the price that it was (since it usually comes for free with certain toys), it's not really a big deal overall, but it's NOT a very high quality towel.

The fabric it's made out of is INSANELY soft. Which is, indeed, a fairly big plus. Nothing sucks more than a rough towel. Most cheap towels do tend to be rough as hell, so a soft and cheap towel is a pretty good deal.

This towel would probably be best in use for toys that don't attract any lint (plastics, etc), used with a spray on toy cleaner. I have also quickly found that it does pretty well for a face cloth. Due to it being so soft, it is really gentle on the face, and is pretty good for cleaning your face and such things. It being white makes it easy to bleach, although you may ruin the green in the logo if you don't use color safe bleach. (I personally wouldn't care about this, though. It's a cheap towel.)

Overall: NOT what I wanted by any means. However, it has some useful points. You can use it on toys that don't attract lint, or on your face. Do not use this on any toys that attract lint. Not even to dry them. You'll just wind up with a re-dirtied toy.
Follow-up commentary
This has started fraying even worse. Several strings have come off of it and it's starting to upset me just a little.

Oh dear! This towel sounds like a nightmare. I'm so sorry it left you disappointed... and linty. Lol. I use a paper towel or a dish towel so that no lint gets on my toys. I kinda thought this would make a neat towel for having around and wishlisted it, but it sounds like total junk. Thank you for the warning.
