Like fairy dust - it makes magical things happen!
Kama Sutra Honey Dust is simply an amazing tool. Whether you're using it to tickle, tease, lick, nip and kiss during sensual play with a lover or as a simple bath product to keep you silky and dry, Honey Dust performs admirably. Non sticky, the scent lingers, the taste is good and it makes your skin feel like velvet.

Pros
Non sticky, not too sweet, performs well in all applications
Cons
None
My weakness for all things that smell, taste and feel good is getting the best of me. I cannot seem to resist just one more kind of body butter, bath salt, shower gel, massage oil or edible powder.
I have no regrets, however, when it comes to the KamaSutra Honey Dust. I got it in Strawberries and Champagne to go with my strawberry body butter - I like to layer scents and flavors to intensify them and make them last longer - and it is absolutely amazing, my favorite "dust" so far.
Honey Dust comes in a cardboard "tin" decorated with Indian inspired art. It's not exactly discreet in that it does say Kama Sutra and Honey Dust on the front, but there are no nude people, no sexual acts, nothing that is potentially embarrassing if someone sees it sitting out. It's Honey Dust, not a 12 foot anal dong made of florescent green jelly, you know? For us, it actually matches the colors in our bedroom quite well, with its golds and blacks, so we leave the tin sitting out on the dresser and it looks totally tasteful.
Inside the in you find a bag of the Honey Dust itself, a feather applicator and a satiny bag.
The feathers are real feathers, shades of brown in color and not particularly lush, but they work very well for applying a light dusting of the powder and teasing the skin with light, sensual strokes.
The bag can be used to store your Honey Dust and many people do this. Simply cut open the plastic bag and place it inside the satin bag. I do not suggest dumping the powder directly into the satin bag as it does tend to "poof" out any time you move it. This is actually a good thing if you want to use the bag itself to apply the dust, like a powder puff, but you waste a lot.
I've found it to work best if I simply open the plastic bag, dump the powder into the tin, toss the plastic bag and use the satin bag for small toys. This way, I can pull the easy to remove lid off the tin, dip the feather applicator in and not make much of a mess at all. Nothing leaks from the tin and the cover closes fairly tightly, so even if you tip it over, it stays sealed.
The powder itself is very light. It reminds me of powdered sugar when I look at it, or possibly triple sifted flower. It's very light. Very, very light. The strawberry flavor is tinted lightly pink but not enough to look fake and cheap. Just a tinge of strawberry color.
The powder itself is made from a cornstarch base with the addition of glucose, honey, flavor, silica, saccharin and colors/dyes. Because it contains sugar use care around the vaginal area as it can cause yeast infections in some women.
Other than that? It performs just like any corn starch powder. It applies easily and doesn't make you feel like a powdered sugar donut unless you really over do it. A light dusting leaves you feeling silky smooth, keeps you dry, smells a bit like heaven and is absolutely lick-able and kissable, with only a mildly chalky taste/feel if you have over applied.
The scent is much like the Kama Sutra Strawberry Creme Body Souffle; light, fruity, almost like strawberry yogurt. Pleasant and not too sweet, with a bit of tartness to its aroma. Taste is non specific. I don't think it tastes like strawberries at all, just lightly sweet.
I love this product not only for sensual times but for after bath and even for a bit of protection against the heat, since it manages to keep you quite dry. It layers really well with body oil or body lotion that has sunk in, but not at all well with glycerin based "oils" so use care.
It doesn't stain at all, nor does it become sticky, which amazed me. Even when you get damp from sweat or arousal, it doesn't become clumpy and doesn't feel icky. It's really an amazingly quality product with the bonus of not only performing well but smelling and tasting well, which is just that much more inspiration to kiss and lick and nibble your way to a really good time.
All in all, I'm quite addicted and will probably end up trying each flavor/scent because...
I cannot help myself!

So far, I have enjoyed every flavor of Honey Dust I have tried. The only issue I've ever had - and I've been using this almost daily as a regular body powder - is with the chocolate flavor. It is colored a light brown and CAN leave brown streaks down your body if you sweat while wearing it. This? Is not a good thing. It looks quite foul. Keep the chocolate only for erotic play and you'll be fine, though.
The rest work really well as a light, tasty, sweet smelling daily powder as well as for sensual play. You really, truly can't go wrong with Honey Dust. It's something I intend to keep in my bath/body/nummy sex play arsenal for a long, long time.
They don't clump or get icky in the container, either, even thru summer humidity so a single large cannister can last a very long while!
