I was so disappointed when I opened my apple cinnamon Champagne Lights candle. It is in a glass jar with a metal screw on lid. This candle is less than 3 inches tall which is much smaller than I expected. Since it is so small, it does not seem like it will last the 12 hours it claims. I have burned it for a couple hours 2 different times and it is already almost half gone.

It is not a candle in the sense that you might be used to, so USE CAUTION when you open the lid the first time, because it is made of wax particles that are loose in the jar. This is the first time I had even seen such a candle, so I thought they sent me bath crystals on accident at first. The loose wax also meant that the wick was out of place, it was all the way over to one side of the candle. Thankfully I was able to quickly and easily remedy this by taking a toothpick and moving the wick to the center. I still had to be careful so none of the loose particles fell out.



It also does not have a strong smell. It might fill a small area such as a bathroom, but I would not expect the smell to fill an entire room. It is a pheromone candle but neither my husband or I could tell a difference in our “mood” or libido. But this might be because of the fact that the smell is so hard to detect in the first place.

To me, for the $6.50 price tag, it is not worth the money. As you can see from the picture below it isn’t even as tall as a Bic lighter. This candle may create an enhanced atmosphere in the bedroom with lighting and a slight fragarence, but a cheaper candle would do the same in my opinion.

All in all, I was disapointed. I thought it would be bigger, smell stronger, and have a more mood-enhancing effect.

It did last a little longer than I had expected, but still not very long in my opinion, and not as long as it had stated in the description. I was so disappointed with the fact that it was so hard to smell. I tried burning the last of it in our smaller kitchen and was able to smell it a little more, but the scent still did not fill the entire room.
