Left Her Smoother Than Silk (Green Tea)

This is a nice, thick, moisturizing shave crème in a well-designed bottle. It smells lovely during use, though the fragrance won't stick around long enough to interfere with other scented products. Unless you're in need of a more discreet label, I recommend giving this product a try!

Use

Coochy Rash Free Shave Crème is part of the Body Boudoir collection - "Intimate body care...with sensual intentions" - by Classic Erotica of California. It's intended for use on sensitive areas, particularly the delicate skin surrounding the genitalia. It can also be used anywhere else you might want to shave: underarms, legs, arms, face, back, chest, head, etc. The "Naked Silk Green Tea" fragrance has a fairly gender-neutral scent, so it's suitable for use by anyone.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The consistency of this Shave Crème is a lot like that of the average hair conditioner--thick, but easily smoothed onto the skin. It's slightly off-white in color, and has a silky, creamy feel. Since it's nice and thick, it comes in a handy pump bottle.

Coochy03

The crème stayed in place very well on the skin, and left a nice layer for shaving.

Taste / Aroma

Coochy isn't meant to be tasted or ingested, so--okay, I'm referring to this shave crème here, not to any personal body parts, which absolutely are meant to be tasted!--so I can't tell you how this stuff tastes. It does have a nice, clean, sort of green-floral scent mixed with a hint of green tea and--pear?--which is very pleasant to the nose. Sadly, the fragrance doesn't linger long after use, but on the other hand, this means it won't interfere with any other scented lotions, body sprays, or perfumes you might want to use.

Performance

As a creamy-type shave crème (as opposed to a foamy one), Coochy works quite well. It feels moisturizing, it helps the razor glide smoothly over skin, and it adds to a very close shave. A fairly small amount can go a long way, due to the thick consistency, so the small-ish bottle should last awhile.

It worked beautifully on my partner's intimate regions, and did a good job on my legs.

Packaging

This shave product comes in a nice-looking little pump bottle, which is surrounded by a shiny, metallic label. The color of the label varies with the fragrance of the creme inside. It really isn't discreet at all, due to the eye-catching shine and the word "Coochy" in large letters on the front. If you turned the bottle around you might be okay; you could peel off the label, but it's so pretty, why would you want to?

Coochy02

The label offers directions for use, including a recommendation for using their After Shave Protection Mist and After Shave Powder for greater protection from shaving rash. It also shows a column of symbols (shown above), telling us that the product is: Made in the USA; not tested on animals; sugar-free; safe for all skin types; paraben-free; and sulfate-free.

The bottle itself is a clear, hard plastic, and features a clear snap-on lid and a black pump top. The lid snaps on tightly, and the pump can be locked by turning it clockwise until it stops; these features make this bottle great for traveling, as it's very unlikely to leak.
    • Does not leak
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Very informative packaging

Special Features

This crème contains some very nice moisturizing ingredients, including lanolin, jojoba oil, hydrolyzed keratin, panthenol, and allantoin. Also, remember how I said the texture is much like a good, thick hair conditioner? Well, in examining the label, I just saw this: "Enhanced with hair and skin moisturizing agents...so luxurious you can use as a body shave plus condition your hair after shampooing!" So, it's not just like a hair conditioner, it actually is one.

Experience

My partner used Coochy Shave Crème on her "bikini area" a week ago. She shaved against the grain of the hair, which she doesn't normally do, because it often causes ingrown hairs to develop. After shaving, she felt so smooth and silky! It definitely added to our sexual experience that evening. When she felt a little itchy the next day, she applied a little hydrocortisone cream to soothe the itch--other than that, she didn't use anything else on the shaved area. She experienced no ingrown hairs/shaving rash whatsoever, which was great for both of us.

I used this shave crème on my legs and underarms today. It felt nice and smelled wonderful during use. The razor seemed to glide along just fine, and my skin feels soft, even without lotion.
