*Work great-never fallen off me *Adjustable *Very tight when unadjusted
These are great nipple clamps for those just starting out or those looking for something with a real pinch. Well designed and well built, these nipple clamps do everything they're supposed to do and nothing they aren't. There is a center weight that hangs down from the middle to give these bad boys more tug, and it also gives them a little more decoration. It's a classy look and they are fairly versatile. The clamps are adjustable, even when being worn, so in the heat of the moment your nips start turning purple you can loosen them up without losing a beat.
Fashion and function, these clamps do not have a 'bite' and the actual clamp part when it sits on your skin is lined with latex, which creates a tiny bit of padding and makes them less intimidating and clinical feeling.
The chain is made out of metal, so be careful to keep it away from water as it might rust. The actual end of the clamps and the weight itself are lined in latex, so if you have an allergy these are for you. The latex bits could be removed, but it would probably destroy them in the process. There isn't much to say about texture, it feels like a chain, the screws used to relieve the tension of the clamps are also metal and easy to use. There are no sharp bits or corners. I wore them under a sweater and it didn't tug any of the yarn, so they're pretty fantastic!
The largest problem with these is they have no information on Eden or on the packaging that says what kind of metal they are. I have a mild steel allergy, and I haven't had a break out with them, so it's not steel, but if you have a nickle allergy or sensitivity to any particular metal I'd be cautions with these.
The design on these is pretty great. I will say that while the whole chain that attaches the weight to the clamp string is 'removable' but you need to pry open a loop to get it off. Not a problem, but pliers are recommended for removing and especially re-attaching the weight. The whole set weighs only .4 lbs, but they feel much heavier in your hand. The weight hangs to about my navel when I have it on, and to put that in perspective I'm about 5'6 and I have larger breasts. From clamp to clamp the chain is about 12 inches, and from the top of the weight chain to the bottom if the weight it's about 8 inches. Overall they are a great length and because it's a chain, as long as your careful and use pliers, it would be easy to remove or add a few links to adjust to optimal length.
The clamps definitely go tight enough if you relieve the screw of any tension, not a 'bite' but a lot of pressure by those clamps. There is also enough adjustment with the screws that you can take away any of the pain and have them mostly for show. The latex does a great job at gripping, I was able to wear these walking around and it didn't make them fall off, even when they weren't at their tightest. Obviously the weight makes them more strained for staying on for long periods of time, but they worked great for me! It's also really easy to simply move them around until a comfortable angle is found.
The only real function is the adjustment screws. There is one screw on each clamp, situated below where the actual nipple would sit. If the screw is twisted the bottom hits the other side of the clamp, creating space between both sides of the clamp. It can open until both sides are about flat and cal close so all weight is just on the skin being clamped. It would be easy to adjust any of the chains to suit your body, and the weight can be removed or the whole middle chain can be with pliers or anything that would open a metal chain link.
like I said before, this product might rust if it's not taken care of properly, so be careful to keep it from water. It's not really long enough to get tangled and the metal is all really nicely filed down so there are no sharp corners to scratch anything, so storage is a breeze. You could keep it in the package it came in or just a a drawer. I keep mine in a draw string bag and that works well. Cleaning is just wipe and if it's a serious mess use a damp cloth, just make sure to let it dry thoroughly before putting it into storage again.
It came in a plastic show case that would be a hanging display. Not discreet at all and not ideal for storage, but if you turned it upside down the bulbous area that the chain sat in packaging could easily hold the chain for storage too. It wasn't that informative, but on the other hand it does not necessarily need to be because it's so easy to use.

I have yet to find a real flaw with these clamps! They work really well, have lots of variation in pressure and they are really easy to use. I don't use them more than once a week, but for my purposes, I predict that they will last for a long long time without wearing out! Love it!
