It's Like Nasty Lip Gloss
These paints are seriously not worth it. They're way too thin and kind of greasy, and also have a terrible flavor and scent. I would definitely look elsewhere for a good quality paint set.

Pros
Comes off any skin other than fingers pretty easy.
Cons
Smells and tastes bad, stains fingers, too thin.
I have to say, the Tasty Body Paints weren’t nearly as enjoyable as I thought they would be. They have the consistency of lip gloss, though they certainly do not taste like flavored lip gloss. There is barely any flavor to them at all.
Since they were so thin, I found it difficult to actually paint with them. I had to get a lot of it on my finger just to draw a small picture, which ended up looking very sloppy and had blobs of it around the edges.
As all the pictures dried on my boyfriend, they all formed these weird little puddles of moisture on them. I guessed it was the oil in the paints that weren’t being absorbed by his skin. The paints left a bit of a slick oily feeling after eventually being washed away.
Out of all the paints, I think we enjoyed the green and blue ones the most, as we took turns rubbing the green and blue together on each others skin to make it look kind of rotted and nasty. There were also pink and red paints, though the description on EdenFantasys shows that there is a yellow and a purple paint included.
Cleanup was somewhat easy. It rinsed off our skin with a soapy washcloth, though not so easily off our fingers. All the dyes stained our fingers pretty bad. After scrubbing for a while, I gave up and just went to bed. It all came off in the shower the next morning, thankfully.
I’m not really sure if I would recommend this product. I decided to review it after amusing my boyfriend by drawing smiley faces on him with frosting, thinking that this would be similar to frosting or actual paint. It’s too gross smelling, and tasting, to want your face anywhere near where it has been rubbed on. I suppose if you want some cheap, sloppy paint, go for it.

Follow-up commentary
5 months after original review
I tried again to use the "Tasty" body paint on my boyfriend. Before I used this, I felt interested in using edible paint products on him, as it sounds pretty fun. Though now, I feel I don't really want to do anything like that, so I guess it is possible that this product has turned me off from that. My boyfriend never mentions it anymore, either, and he was pretty excited to get to try something like this. :(

Sad to hear that this sucked so much for you guys. Don't give up on edible stuff yet tho, there's some good stuff out there, you just have to keep experimenting. Good review

Keep reading the taste is awful. That seems like a deal breaker for me, but I think it may make a fun gift for someone else. Just need to warn them about the taste...
