It's An Explosion! Of Rose Petals!
Rose petals can add a nice touch to any romantic gesture, but the hassle of having fresh ones on hand can be too much sometimes. With these, you're spending about the same amount as you might on a bouquet of fresh roses, only you don't have to individually pull every petal off or have to buy it more than once!

Pros
Great for romantic gestures, Will last you a long time
Cons
Floral scent is very strong
Have you ever wanted to add that extra romantic touch of rose petals sprinkled around the bed, bath, or wherever, but didn't have the time to go out and individually pluck all those petals from roses? Well Bijoux Indiscreets has your back!
This kit comes in a pleasant box, just big enough to hold all 100 rose petals stacked in two neat piles. The outer black box slides right off to let you peek through the viewing hole in the inner cream colored cardboard box that holds the petals. You don't have to take the black one off if you don't want to, it doesn't get in the way. It's nice enough to give as a gift even.
Inside the cream box there are two stacks of polyester petals. 100 rose petals might not sound like a lot, but I have yet to use all of them at once. Once they get spread out they really do take up a nice amount of room. When you first pull them out of the box, they're sort of stuck together. It took me a while to lay them out the first time because I'd get one or two that were free and on their own, and then I'd have to individually separate out 15-20. Not a big deal in the long run, but when you're first setting them up you should keep that in mind. Another thing you'll notice right out of the box is that lovely rose scent. I'm not talking the scent of a fresh rose, I'm talking the generic "make your eyeballs hurt and give you a headache" rose scent normally associated with all things rose scented. It's not bad when they're all spread out (unless you're very sensitive to fragrances, then I suggest letting them all air out in a room with plenty of ventilation), but if you're in a smaller space they might get bothersome. You can also spray them with your own perfume later on after the scent has worn off. The rose scent will also transfer to hands and some clothing as well.
Now the petals themselves are pretty much perfect as far as size goes; damn near spot on. Unless you're looking closely at them you almost can't even tell that they're fake at all. Each petal is about 2"x2 1/2" very realistic looking. Rather than being all one solid color or printed the same on each one, each petal has a spark of individuality to it because it doesn't look exactly like all the rest of them. When it comes to feel, they're not very realistic though. They feel a little rough, nothing horrible, even on naked skin, but not necessarily the first thing I'd want to roll around naked in.
As far as where you could use them, well, anywhere you'd want to drop rose petals around to add to the mood. They work great on the floor, on the bed, near the bath, wherever. I would suggest not putting them in the bathtub as while they are waterproof, they will get soggy. Realistically, the only thing you're risking is how well they hold their form after they've been wet, but if you like how they're shaped then keep them out of water. If you should have to clean them for whatever reason, try to spot clean them. Because they're polyester you could theoretically run them through the wash with the rest of your clothes so long as they were in a pillow case or lingerie bag, but they probably won't keep their shape after they dry, especially if you also run them through the dryer.

Experience
I won't lie, neither my husband or I have ever been much for the big grand gestures complete with rose petals and all that jazz. But my husband and I don't get much time to ourselves, and when we planned a weekend away, I planned a surprise to go with it. He had no idea what I was up to, and while these most certainly weren't the main course of the surprise, they were a very pleasant side dish and even my big rugged and manly man thought that they were cute and a very nice touch. These are something I plan to be able to keep around for a long time, since unless I purposefully destroy them they probably won't ever need to be replaced. For the price, you'd be hard-pressed to find much better that will last you a long time.

Thank you for viewing Rose petals explosion – sensual kit discontinued review page!
I call that old lady smell
Kake, I'm going to have to get with you at some point because I do like the scent of actual roses but I really can't stand most rose scented things.
Thanks so much everybody!
