Is That Lip Balm In Your Pocket Or Are You Just Happy to See Me?
If I'd purchased this at a big box store for less than what half EF is charging for it, I'd feel like it was an interesting experiment. As these prices, however, the failures of this lip balm certainly add up. Some people will love the scent, and this will be enough for them, but I only really liked the shape of the container. This isn't a truly convenient or moisturizing product.

Pros
Unique little shape, does add some moisture, easy to find in stores
Cons
Doesn't deeply moisturize, weird smell, awkward for use in pockets/small bags, PRICE!
I'd never seen a lip product in such an unique package before. Some of the scents seemed quite appealing, so I thought I'd give this EOS product a try after my stick balm ran out. It's been a mixed bag for me.
Not everyone loves this spherical shape, but I do. The balm itself has a much wider surface area because it's spherical, and I never miss my lips. I guess I don't always pay that much attention.
The shape is also super easy to grab out of a bag or from the table, where mine has been. However, it takes up a lot more room than a stick, so it's not ideal for tossing in your pocket or clutch, which can be a major downside for some people. If you want a lip balm that's more travel-friendly, this might not be up your alley.
I won't inundate you with more pictures because the other reviewers have got that covered. The top twists off, and there's a little finger indentation. Overall, it's a stupidly easy design to use, which I love. I hate struggled to twist caps back on. I barely have to think about it with this ball.
The product itself is white-ish in the container. It adds no color to my lips. I'm okay with that. After applying, it does feel waxy, but let's be honest, what lip balm doesn't? I've never used any similar product (Carmex, Chapstick etc) that didn't feel either waxy or greasy, and that's just going to be the case if you want moist lips.
It does provide relief to my lips, which were feeling a little rough when my stick balm ran out. I tried to live with it for a couple weeks, but I'm just not cut out for this cold, cruel world. ;) While the waxiness would be okay, the product doesn't seem to penetrate my lips much. They remain just as dry and rough underneath them, so I'd say this product treats the symptoms more than the cause, sadly.
I'm torn about the scent of this. I got summer fruit, but now I'm thinking I might have done better to go with the strawberry sorbet. The main tones in this are something peachy or perhaps nectarine-like with a hint of citrus. There's a definite chemical smell to it, too. It's an extremely strong smell, and while I sometimes don't mind it, other times it smells a little too much like cat piss on a pine tree to me. However, I think that's really a personal preference, and I probably wouldn't mind so much if the smell wasn't so ridiculously strong. This might not be the best product for anyone who doesn't like fragrances.
If you lick your lips while you have the EOS balm on, you'll taste a hint of sweetness. It's generic.
The selling point of these--and probably the reason EdenFantasys has them priced so high--is that they're certified organic. The all-natural ingredient list includes no parabens, petroleum or sulfates. The list on the product page is much longer, but most of those other chemicals wouldn't be in a lip product, anyway.
I'll keep using this until it runs out, but I already bought some Chapstick, too. Considering the price here on EF, I'm not going to run out and buy more any time soon.

Follow-up commentary

I've gotten used to this scent, and now it's more fruity than cat pee to me. It's not the moist moisturizing product, but it's better than some. I would probably pick up another scent when I run out because I like the shape!
