Ignite Your Senses
This massage oil has a very strong blueberry-like scent that might be overwhelming for some. It sinks into the skin nicely, maybe a bit too much, and does not leave a greasy feeling post-massage. I do recommend this oil for anyone looking for a relaxing and invigorating massage.

I was looking for a massage oil that would be both pleasant on the skin for massages and arousing to my sense of smell. I chose the cocoa bean/gogi berry because it sounded interesting and the most relaxing.
Packaging and Ingredients
The oil comes in a slim, 4 ounce, tall bottle with an easy-pour spout like you would find on lotions or hand sanitizer. It seals very well for travel and storage. The bottle is clear so you can see the golden oil inside. On the outside of the bottle is a simple label with some ingredient information and details about the oil.
This oil is vegan and does not contain parabens.
Smell
I was very interested in a massage oil that would smell good and relax me. I am a huge fan of vanilla and eucalyptus scents for relaxation, and thought gogi berry and cocoa would be nice. The scent of this oil is very strong. As soon as I opened the bottle, it was like a burst of scent in the room. I liked that, but I might prefer the scent to be a little more subtle so as not to be a shock to my senses.
I'm not really sure what a gogi berry is, but the oil smells just like blueberries. It is sweet and strong with some tart undertones. I could almost taste blueberries. I found this a pleasant scent and very surprising. The cocoa is obvious in the warm sweetness, beneath the berry scent.
Texture
I've used cheap, convenience store massage oils before, and I've always experienced them to be a bit runny and messy. That was not the case with this oil. This oil is thicker. When pouring, it comes out slow so as not to get oil all over the place and it stuck to my hands well when moving from the bottle to skin. I really appreciated this, as the last thing I want is sheets covered in oil (not sure how that will wash out).
On the skin, the oil slides smoothly and sinks into the skin, creating soft, moisturized skin. It seems to sink into the skin enough to moisturize, but stays on the surface enough to create a warm, slick surface for massaging. I did find that I needed to reapply often, as it would sink-in and my hands would start to drag.
The oil does not feel greasy like other massage oils. It sets into the skin and does feel like oil, but does not leave your hands sticky or greasy. The only reason I chose to wash my hands afterwards was because I didn't want to get oil on genitals or condoms. Please, please, please make sure to wash your hands after using this oil to avoid ripping condoms and causing irritation to more sensitive skin. If you do have skin allergies, try this oil on your forearm or ankle, first, to test your reaction.

Experience
I enjoyed this massage oil. It felt warm on the skin and allowed my partner's hands to glide along my skin. It did require a few reapplications, but that's do-able. The scent was excellent but a bit strong, so I wasn't able to relax into the scent as much as I would have liked.
We enjoyed this oil and will continue using it. I am sad to see Eden Fantasys discontinued it, but I hope to see it replaced with new scents.
