I Only Play With Clean Toys
If you are looking for an easy way to make sure your toys are clean, then this is probably it! This cleaner is great as an addition to the standard soap and water wash, plus it makes your toys smell yummy. The only possible drawback is that it doesn't taste as good as it smells.

Pros
easy to use, effective, smells like candy
Cons
smells like candy
I will admit it, I am pretty particular about the things I put in my body. Sex toys are no different. When I decided to purchase toy cleaner, I knew that I wanted three things. I wanted something simple. I wanted something that did not leave a residue. I also wanted something that would not damage my toys.
According to the label, this cleaner is safe on all toys and should not cause an allergic reaction. The cleaner is clear and has the consistency of water. If you know how to operate a spritz bottle you should be able to figure out how to use it. It was pretty obvious that it fit my requirements!
The Before and After Toy Cleaner is the first cleaner I tried and it is the one I am sticking with. Prior to purchasing it, I use to sanitize my toys with rubbing alcohol. I do not recommend that.
I use the cleaner as an additional sanitizer for my toys. After use, I wash my toys in mild liquid soap and hot water. I then dry them and follow up with one or two spritz of my cleaner. The final step is wiping off the cleaner with a clean paper towel. The toy then goes into storage.
I also spritz and wipe my toys whenever I take them out of storage and before use. Call me strange, but I always imagine dust on my toys, and I can't use them until I know they are clean.
I have tried using the Before and After Toy Cleaner without the additional step of washing the toys in soap and water, but it took quite a few sprays to get the toys clean. Plus, I prefer knowing my toys were subjected to some hot water.
On days that I am thoroughly worn out from playing, I will spritz and wipe, and then soap wash it the next day.
Although the cleaner will work on its own, I would recommend it as an additional step to your normal cleaning routine. It is great after a soap and water wash, because it can remove any soap residue without leaving any of its own. The cleaner is basically a fancy mixture of rubbing alcohol, water, and fragrance; however unlike rubbing alcohol, it does not burn or have a harsh scent.
In terms of value, I cannot really gauge that because this is my first toy cleaner. I don't have anything to compare it to other than rubbing alcohol or soap and water. But for those of you who are wondering, here is a little more information. I purchased the 4oz bottle in September (it's December) and I am about halfway through it. I don't use it every day, and I don't use it for other things. So, you may get more or less longevity from a bottle. Honestly I have no idea what in the world else you would use this for! Also, you may prefer to use only the spray rather than soap washing and spritzing. That would probably require more cleaner.
Although I love this cleaner, I do have one warning about it. It smells like candy. That is normally a good thing. However, when you are a girl with an oral fixation and a love of any thing penis shaped, it can be quite tempting. Do not eat it, it does not taste good.

Follow-up commentary

This stuff is still great! My only annoyance is that I like to use paper towels with it, and it never fails that I run out of paper towels. Then I end up using toilet paper, which surprisingly works if you don't over spray. I think I would love this cleaner more if it came as wipes.
