Opening the container to the bath milk, it feels just like powdered milk. It's got a creamy ivory color, with a slightly softer texture then regular powdered milk. It almost feels like baby powder, but a little starchy. The powder is velvety soft in the hands, and absorbs nicely in running water. Be sure to add this to the running bath water, to prevent lumps from forming.





It's up to you the amount of powder you want added to the water. The more powder you add, the milkier the water becomes. It leaves the water with a soft creamy, velvety texture, that soothes even the roughest skin. The powder absorbs nicely in the water, leaving no trace of a powdery texture. There's no film left behind on the skin, nor is there any powdery substance left on the tub after the bath. With that said, this is a top of the line type of product, that is spa quality.

It leaves your skin soft, silky, smooth, and absorbs into the skin nicely. If you have sensitive skin, don't worry, as this is perfectly formulated to be safe for even the most sensitive skin. The product is all natural, and cruelty free, and just has a short list of ingredients.

There are five different aromas to chose from: Goji Berry, Camu Camu, Pomegranate, Acai, and Blue Lotus. The scent that I received was the Blue Lotus, which smells just like the blue lotus flower. The smell fresh out of the tub is quite romantic, and has a bit of a soothing effect. It's not overpowering, but it will fill the washroom with it's pleasant fragrance. The smell will fill up the apartment and last for quite some time.

The scent lightly kisses the skin, and leaves a light trace. The scent absorbs into the skin nicely, leaving a lightly sweet yet fresh smell.

When it comes to the taste of the product, it tastes somewhat sweet. I was actually surprised at how mild the taste to the product was, but I guess that's due to the natural properties of the product. I don't advise drinking, licking, or eating the bath milk, as it's not meant for that. If you were to kiss someone's body after using this product, you wouldn't have to worry about an unpleasant taste.

The Dona Bath Milk is by far an excellent quality product. I would actually compare this to products that would be used at a spa. It leaves your skin feeling clean, refreshed, and soft. The aroma is amazing and pleasantly fills the washroom, leaving a sense of relaxation. The scent is long lasting on the skin, feels natural without an oily feeling, and makes you feel like you spent the day at that spa!

This product is mild enough, that even people with sensitive skin could use it.

When it comes to the packaging of this product, it is quite simple, and is fully recyclable. The tub/bottle is made of clear/soft white plastic that is well made, as there was no leakage during shipment. There is a nice little sticker on the product that shows that the bottle has never been opened.

There is a label that runs around the whole tub/bottle which is a dark purple color, with the appearance of black lace on top. The front shows the "DONA by JO" at the top, along with "an aphrodisiac infused ritual" written just below. In the middle it states: "blue lotus", "Body Wash". All writing is written in white lettering.



The back of the tub/bottle contains the product description, instructions, ingredients, and company information. The writing on the back contains a solid black background, with white writing.

Ingredients:
Dry Milk Powder, Magnesium Sulfate, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Myrciaria Dubia (Camu Camu) Fruit Powder, Fragrance.



The side of the bottle has four little icon-like pictures stating: "paraben free", "cruelty free", "natural", and "petro. deriv. free". These would stand for: No Petrochemicals, No Phthalates, No Triclosan, and Parabens free.

With this bath milk, it states that it's supposed to have an aphrodisiac type of effect to it. It sure does awaken the senses, and makes for a wonderful at home spa experience.

I have sensitive skin, as I suffer from psoriasis, and I found that this bath milk was gentle enough for my skin. With its natural properties, and the fact that the product is cruelty free, this is a wonderful product compared to others. With the option of five scents, there's something for everyone in the family. The aroma isn't too strong, it leaves your skin kissed with a light fragrance.
