Pros
Vegan friendly, 100% soy wax, Smell is lovely
Cons
Scent isn't all that strong
Such scandalous scents
This brand has quite a few different scents, that I intend to collect all of eventually, all with semi scandalous names, and an eclectic collection of scents. Where else can you find a candle that smells like milk and cookies, next to one that smells like gin and juice, next to another that smells like leather?
I happened to pick Lush, which claims to smell like gin and juice. I'm unfamiliar with what juice Snoop usually picks to accompany his gin, but everybody I've asked has said that it smells exactly like grapefruit. I like the smell, so it's not a big loss for me. Unfortunately, it's not all that potent. In a small room like a bathroom, it would easily give you some nice scenting qualities, but in a small bedroom or bigger, you're not going to get quite the same amount of scent. I could smell it burning when I was sitting within a few feet of it, but not much farther away. While I may prefer a stronger smelling candle though, those who are more sensitive to scents might find themselves preferring something you have to intentionally get close to to smell.
The wax of each candle is hand poured and 100% soy. On top of that, it's also got a little stamp on the bottom that says that it's vegan and cruelty free.
As far as how it burns, well, not badly. It's supposed to have a 35 hour burn time, but as of right now, I'm a little skeptical. I let it burn for about 2 1/2 hours and it seemed to burn through (pun intended) quite a bit more wax than I had anticipated. I didn't have a draft or anything, it was just sitting out in the open. However, even after all that, the melt pool never reached the sides of the container, it just melted down. After the melted wax dried though, it looked kinda like a milkshake or something like that. It's hard to describe, but I took a picture that I hope helps you see it a little better.
The metal tin that these candles come in is gorgeous. They would make a great gift, and at just 2" high and 3" across, you don't have to worry about them taking up much space. The only 'risque' thing about them is their names, which is clearly printed on a cream colored label on the front of the tin. It'll have the name, and then the scent. So mine says "Lush, gin & juice". If you don't mind people seeing the name, you don't have to worry about leaving them out. And even if you are worried about people seeing the name, you can always just peel the label off.

Experience
Overall, I'm happy so far with this candle. I'm saving up to get a whole bunch more of the other scents, but of the ones available when I went nuts buying candles, I'm happy with it. Grapefruit isn't always what I want to smell, but the lid keeps the scent in nicely when I don't want to smell it, and it looks so nice just sitting out.
Follow-up commentary
18 months after original review
Despite no longer being offered here, I still like the few scents I've gotten and got a few as gifts before they disappeared. If you can find them, I still recommend them because they have fun scents and fantastic burn times.
