As a cosmetic sales consultant, I rarely use anything that isn't from my company. However, I just HAD to buy this stuff when I realized there were "lip plumping" properties. My company doesn't offer that, and it's hard to find a good lip plumper these days! I honestly didn't expect it to be anything too special. Lots of companies make claims that a product is wonderful, when it really isn't. Another reason why I usually stick to my own products. I'm happy (and surprised) to say that this product is totally worth the cost and it's something every girl should have in her hand bag!


When it comes to allergy concerns, the only ingredients that stick out to me (yet are extremely common with cosmetics of all sorts) are the fruit extracts such as ginger root or grape seed oil. There are NO parabens which is awesome, so that should not be a concern. The other ingredients are listed below. None of which, us women in the cosmetic industry warn people about too often.


It is an oil based gloss, so if you have acne issues or want to avoid oily skin, this may not be for you. When I was a young teen, oil-based products really make me break out. To this day my mother even gets break outs from oil-based glosses. There are few water-based glosses, so it's something many women have to deal with.

This gloss has a very thick viscosity, but glides on easily and sits smooth on the lips. There are no clumps or chunks of unevenly mixed product, so it's sure to give you that glossy shine that you're looking for in a gloss. The color is sheer, but very noticeable on pale lips. If you are like me, and you have lips that could almost be mistaken for the rest of your body, you might want to go with a lighter shade. I chose the cinnamon for it's extra plumping qualities, but I found that it is a little to red for everyday use. Tonight I am going out to a special dinner with the hubby, so it will look great with my little black dress and the rest of my attire. However, if it were to be worn everyday with my gym shorts and a tank top, it would just be TOO RED.


Like I mentioned, it's oil-based. It is greasy, and if you apply too much you will notice that the oily feeling spreads to the area around your mouth. So don't use too much. Believe me, a little goes a long way with this stuff... which is absolutely GREAT!

The cinnamon only has a slight taste of cinnamon. It really isn't enough to tell if it is cinnamon or not. For me, this isn't an issue as I prefer my products to have little to no taste. It bothers me to constantly taste something on my lips, as I will find myself actually licking it all off (or the hubby doing so)!


The scent, however, is quite strong for a gloss. I love the smell of cinnamon, so it all works out great in the end. Just sitting in the car on the way home from the mail box with the hubby, he immediately smelled the scent as I opened the bottle for the first time.

When it comes to performance, this gloss fits my standards. It lasted over an hour (about an hour and a half) before needing to be reapplied. It almost "dries" to a seal on the lips, which is fantastic, as many glosses stay sticky and begin to clump. I find that when reapplication time comes, there is no white residue around the inner area of the lips from preservatives and other ingredients. Probably because this gloss contains no parabens or harmful ingredients.


Is it an aphrodisiac? I don't really think so. Although the thought of cinnamon on my lips turns both my hubby and I on mentally, I can't say that it made anything more exciting and it certainly did not make me feel aroused simply to wear it. So please don't expect any sexual performance results. That would be silly to expect with a lip gloss!

This gloss comes packaged beautifully in a Booty Parlor box that says "Kissaholic XOXO" on the front. On the top of the box there is a demonstration of the color of the gloss, and information about the product is on the side. Very tiny and a bit hard to read though.


One side shows the full list of ingredients (a lot of ingredients!) and another side says: "Aphrodisiac Plumping Lip Gloss - Feed your kiss addiction... - Supposedly an aphrodisiac (I don't quite agree, but who knows)


- Lip plumping: Totally noticed a difference before and after. Lips look fuller and stay that way until a while after wiping the product off. Love it!
