It’s hard to say enough good things about the Hitachi Magic Wand. The wand plugs into the wall so there aren’t any batteries to worry about. The flexible head produces very strong vibrations on two separate speed settings. The "low" setting is powerful enough but the high setting is somewhere around "prepare to launch in to orbit." The vibrations are really that strong.

When it’s time to put it away, cleanup of the smooth plastic head is as easy as using your favorite brand of toy cleaner, giving it a light rinse, and drying with a cloth. You’ll do it with a smile on your face.

The Magic Wand actually works great for back/muscle massage too although that’s definitely not the most fun you can have with it. As another plus it’s not phallic shaped, so we can leave this one lying around without raising too many eyebrows if someone happens to see it lying on a dresser. You can simply say “Oh, yes that’s my marvelous, relaxing back massager!” Wink Wink.

For some people it may be a a little awkward using this toy during actual intercourse just because of its size (a full foot long!) and weight (over a pound). After all, one of you has to keep holding the darn thing at just the right angle which could get a little tiresome after a few minutes. On the other hand, a few minutes may be all you need.

By itself, the Hitachi Magic Wand is strictly an external toy but for extra fun and games you check out a variety of available curved and straight attachments which fit over the vibrating top. These include the straight Jollies Hitachi attachment and the curved g-spot "Gee Whiz." Even just a texture cover such as the Pleasure Dome can add some sensory variety.

It's still a classic. It's still a favorite. Nothing else in our collection matches the power or dependability of the Hitachi Magic Wand.
