Greatest Scent Ever!
Not Soap Radio's body wash and bubble bath combo in "Bubbles, not carbs" has got to be the most amazing scent I have ever smelled. It's a fresh orange scent with a hint of spiciness. It really wakes me up and gets me moving. The bottle claims it will help curb your desire for high carb foods like potatoes and cake. I did not notice any difference in my desires for food. This also does not moisturize skin very well.

Pros
scent, price, made in the USA, doesn't contain glycerin
Cons
contains parabens, does not moisturize skin
I probably have way too many bottles of body wash and bubble bath sitting around as it is, but I really wanted to try Not Soap Radio's body wash and bubble bath. I've liked all of their other products so far. I picked "Bubbles, not carbs" because the idea of a body wash curbing cravings for high carb foods sounds amazing.
This wash comes in a decently sized clear plastic bottle with a black flip-top. The bottle is rectangular shaped and measures 6 inches tall and 3 inches wide. It's about 1 1/2 inches deep. The lid can screw off but also has a flip lid to regulate the amount of soap coming out. The front of the bottle has a sticker label on it that says "Bubbles, not carbs (where there is willpower, there is less to weigh)." It also says this bubble bath/body wash reduces temptations for high carb foods. The back states the orange and horse chestnut extracts will tone and firm skin to reduce the appearance of cellulite. This also says a portion of your purchase of this product goes to 365 Birthdays, which is a non-profit organization that serves at risk children.
Ingredients:
Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Deionized Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamide MEA, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Glycol Distearate, Methylparaben, Orange Peel Oil, Orange Fruit Extract, Ivy Extract, Horse Chestnut Extract, Red 4, Yellow 5, Red 33.
This product does contain parabens, so those with sensitivities should avoid using it. It does not contain glycerin, though, which is great. The fragrances of this bubble bath come from the orange extracts and the horse chestnut extract. I love that there isn't an artificial fragrance in this.
I absolutely love the color of this bubble bath. It's so unique looking. It's a lovely bright orange that is a bit metallic looking. It's about the color of an actual orange. It does not contain any shimmery bits.
As far as consistency goes, this is the same as the average body wash. It will drip if you have it in your hand and turn it over, but it's still pretty thick. I was a bit worried it would be too thin since it doubles as a bubble bath and body wash. Many bubble baths I have tried are kind of runny, so you end up pouring more than you need. This is easy to apply just the right amount under your tap or onto a shower pouf. The cap is easy to use with wet hands, too. Once on skin, this will begin to lather up VERY nicely. I used as much as I typically do to wash my body, which is about a quarter-sized amount. Within a few seconds of rubbing this on my body, it started to lather up into a nice thick foam.
As a bubble bath, this stuff is okay. It makes a decent layer of bubbles, but it doesn't make mounds of them like kids bubble bath does. To use it as a bubble bath, just pour however much you want underneath the faucet as you fill the tub. I was able to get half an inch or so with a few quarter-sized squirts. Once I turned off the water, the bubbles did start to go away. Within 15 minutes they were all gone. I'm not really disappointed, though, since I wanted this as a body wash. I don't think I have the patience or anything to really lay in my tub for more than 15 minutes anyway. I didn't notice any leftover residue when I emptied the tub out.
The scent of this stuff is absolutely amazing! It's orange and horse chestnut, so it's got that super fresh scent of oranges combined with a light, spicy scent. To me, it smells like oranges and cloves, which is a scent I love. Not Soap Radio's web site says it is supposed to smell like mandarin oranges and tangerines. They're somewhat right, it just has that spice added to it as well. It's not too strong, either. When I washed with this, my bathroom was filled with the fresh, spicy scent. The scent remained for about half an hour after my shower. I wish the scent had stuck to my skin, but it didn't. It would be awesome if Not Soap Radio had a matching body lotion to go along with this gel.

Compared to most body washes, this stuff didn't fare well as far as moisturizing my skin goes. There is no aloe or vitamin E in this, both of which are common ingredients in a body wash. They help keep skin moisturized, since the act of washing skin strips it of a lot of moisture. I personally have very dry skin, especially in the winter. After my shower, I did notice my skin felt a bit tighter. My hands especially felt more dry than usual. I do like my body products to contribute to my skin health as well as doing what they are supposed to do. Because of that, I won't use this every day. I'll probably be using it once or twice a week. When I have issues with acne on my back, I will probably switch to using this on my back, since the super moisturizing washes seem to just fuel the acne and non moisturizing ones help get rid of it.
Not Soap Radio claims the scent of this gel will help to curb cravings for high carb foods like potatoes, cookies, and cake. I looked up a bit of information online, but was unable to find if the scent of an orange can make you no longer desire foods like cakes. I did find that orange helps relieve stress, anxiety, and insomnia. Orange can also be considered an antidepressant as far as aromatherapy goes. I thought the scent helped to wake me up and energize me a bit more. It didn't really affect my thoughts on food much, except making me want some nice, fresh fruit at 4 AM, when all the stores are closed. I think this would work for you if you place the scent of oranges with the willpower to not eat fattening foods. Simply believing in what the bottle tells you may help you by tricking your mind into thinking it doesn't want any cake or some weird magic stuff like that. If you go into it expecting it not to work, it won't work. I also wouldn't rely on this only as your diet method. You need to control what you put in your body, not the things surrounding you.
Overall, I do feel I can fully recommend this gel to anyone. The scent isn't super strong, but it is pretty in-your-face with its freshness. Not Soap Radio claims this will help you overcome desires for high carb foods, which didn't work too well for me. I purchased this specifically with the intent to enjoy the scent and enjoy it in the shower, so I'm not put off by it not helping me avoid huge stacks of chocolate chip waffles. While this won't help to moisturize your skin, the energizing effects of the scent may make up for it.

This is still one of my favorite shower products I've bought on EdenFantasys. The scent is amazing and works well for both myself and my fiance. I only wish it did a bit of a better job of moisturizing my dry skin.
